GUNS & AMMO

If there were a fire ban, we wouldn't have shot at it. Tyler has 160 acres with 60 some head of cattle on it. He would not endanger his livestock nor his farm just to blow up something. Its horrible that you guys are having wildfires out there but you probably won't be alone for long, its terribly dry in the midwest too. Bottom line is that it is legal, we did everything by the book and nobody got hurt and nothing caught fire. And that was one hell of a shot by Josh!

We aren't the dumb hicks you think we are.....Well, maybe just a little! :D

I think he said if you did that in HIS state.
Yes, he said in his state. And I totally respect the laws of Colorado and wouldn't do things just to do them. C'mon, I have more sense than that. It just baffled me how my totally legal actions become the point of ridicule for having done nothing wrong.

I know Montana has some roads without speed limits. Also the German Autobahn. I'm not about to tell someone that if they drove that fast in my state that I would punch them in the face.

I'd wait for them to do it and without warning...punch them in the face. Or call the authorities.

You'd tell me that.....but you know I drive like a grandma!

I also know you.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt before telling them we can't be friends. Especially if they by all rights have done nothing wrong.

On a related note to the Fest Fest shooting day, My .17hmr shoots nice!!!

To say you'd punch somebody in the face is a pretty strong reaction.

I'd guess Colorado peeps are pretty touchy about fire stuff right now. If you had posted that any other time of year I'd say his reaction might not have been so strong.

I sincerely hope so.

Though, I have been known the bring out the beast in people :dunno:

I said IF you were HERE and I saw you doing that HERE we wouldnt not be very friendly with each other. We are losing 3+ areas for shooting due to the things pictured in that image that I mentioned above. We have a raging fire going due to asshats doing the same sort of thing in the image. I have had rounds wizz past my truck because people arent shooting into the earth backdrop.
I get that it is legal there. And I envy the lack of worry you guys have about fires. But we have to worry about it nearly year round out here.

Yes for hunting the rules are different. For recreational, those are some of the rules. And the lack of people that follow those rules cause a giant issue here. Im just tired of doing all the clean up and foot work to keep shit open just for dumb shit to happen and lose the right to access the land or have it burned down. I have no issue with you doing it there. Thats why I said IF you were HERE.....

Outside of that, come visit, Ill buy ya a beer and show ya some of the fun spots to shoot and the private range. Sorry for the mix up.

What are colorado's rules about it in regards to what? You cant register a gun here if that matters.....

whats colorado law on bringing riffles from other states. without going dealer to dealer.
Selling a gun to someone in another state requires to transfer it through an FFL in every state. If you own it, you should be able to bring it into the state without issue.

just bringing back a few firearms i owned in one state. Now that i live in Colorado id rather have them here then shitting on the ranch, but i want to be able to actually shoot them in colorado without the possibility of getting in trouble.

Right on. and I'll extend the same invitation to you as well, though the cool places to shoot here are pretty limited.

Here is a good resource. But to answer your question as long as all of your firearms are legal to own you dont have to do anything when bringing them from another state.

if your concerned about the legality of bringing your firearms here, just drop them off at my house and you wont have to worry about it :woohoo:

no registration or anything required unless they are NFA/class 3/cooler than the tacticool college kids guns.

no concern of Legality, since there coming from one of the worst states to own guns period. a few may just fit under NFA laws possibly

That is kind of a scary statement right there.

If you have any NFA (National Firearms Act) weapons (Short barrel rifle, Short barrel shotgun, Any Other Weapon, or silencer) I am hoping all the proper paper work and approved tax stamp was done before the "maybe" fall under NFA laws was done. :shhh: (10 years in jail and $10,000 fine wont be fun.)

NFA is Federal, if done properly they are legal in any state other than socialist states who go against the firearm laws and don't allow NFA weapons in their state. If you move an approved NFA weapon you must notify the ATF.

Colorado is lax, only the city of Denver has magazine limit bans and doesnt like CCW.

You should be good in any other part.

I haven't posted updates here in a while. Lost the Gun ADHD bug, but got a bug for Gun accessory ADHD. Totally rebuilt my 300 Blackout rifle. I decided to go back to Flat Dark Earth. I feel much more pleased in how it looks now and done with it.
