As long as you don't set up your camp in the middle of a wash you should be fine, just seek high ground and be ready to move quick if a flash flood comes through . I think rain would be awesome... would kind of make campfires a pain in the ass though :rof:

Probably a lot of cut sidewall problems. There's really nothing else id worry about but I sleep in the jeep so bugging out is quick

Apparently a lot of you have never been on Means Dry Lake when it rains..

Suddenly everything is burried to the axles (or chassis!) in clay mud. It is not fun. That place turns in to a bog very very quickly.

Its not like you have to park and camp on the lake bed there's plenty of better places

I drove through a mudhole on my bday out there in 09, it took a pressure washer to get the crap off of my paint. Sticky is an understatement that stuff dries up like concrete.

Plus tearing big ruts in the mud is going to F the lakebed up for everyone else once it dries up. It takes years for tracks to flatten back out.
