Goatfest in Johnson Valley Nov 13-14

Rain sounds to me like there would be epic carnage...

why? rain doesn't break stuff driving like a jackass does (trust me I know :gee:)

As long as you don't set up your camp in the middle of a wash you should be fine, just seek high ground and be ready to move quick if a flash flood comes through :D. I think rain would be awesome... would kind of make campfires a pain in the ass though :rof:

Apparently a lot of you have never been on Means Dry Lake when it rains..

Suddenly everything is burried to the axles (or chassis!) in clay mud. It is not fun. That place turns in to a bog very very quickly.

Cal is right I wouldn't mess with that mud unless I were in a azusa buggy that's some sticky crap

I drove through a mudhole on my bday out there in 09, it took a pressure washer to get the crap off of my paint. Sticky is an understatement that stuff dries up like concrete.

Plus tearing big ruts in the mud is going to F the lakebed up for everyone else once it dries up. It takes years for tracks to flatten back out.

Ya not exactly treading lightly. The small mud pit back by the base fence is usually tore up enough that it would be a blast to crawl some rc stuff through
