fs 93 xj, 3.5" lift, 4.7 stroker $3000

Wow, I'm going about this all wrong.

I'm selling my 4.88s now, doing a stroke with the quick swap camshafts, and getting a solid steel driveshaft.
 
except for the reasons listed 25 posts ago.. finite control on the trail and restored fuel economy.
 
To each their own, I guess, but with 33s, 4.56s and my little stroker, I plan on going to 4:1 in the T-case for more control off road.

And my little 4.6 has a cam specifically built for an early torque curve. Even still, I would rather have deeper gears. I'd go to 4.88s if I could.

I don't know why you guys talk so much smack, my stroker loves the stock gearing of my axles with 36 inch tires.
