Feeler: 99 HP D30 with 4.88's

I might be replacing the D30 in my XJ very soon. If I do (pretty sure I will) I have my D30 that has about 6mo. on the rebuild and 4.88's. It also has ceramic brake pads. The steering is shot due to 7.5" coils. Local only. $350 obo and will consider trades.

I didn't know since it's been "rebuilt"....and re-geared..sometimes...some people replace the whole frontend with something else.

Its the original D30 the XJ has less than 40K on it. rbuild means seals bearings and new carrier for the 4.88's. It cost me more to regear the axle and put new brake pads in it a few months ago than what Im selling the whole front end for.............

Stock HP in a '99? Sure it's not a standard? I thought they stopped putting HP futher back '96-'97 maybe....but what do I know

2000 was the beginning of the TJ LP30 in the XJ.
DC was phasing out unshared parts.
I am sure that someone, somewhere has a '99 with a LP30, and I am sure he will pipe in here.
For the other 99% of the '99s, it was the HP30 as the only option, at least in the US.
