Come on now Fixer, Rush Limbaugh has made millions doing exactly the same thing to Dems. I heard nothing but the same thing the whole time Clinton was in office. If you are waiting for solutions, does that mean you at least agree that there are problems? I say that respectfully, oh one with big arsenal.

It has six main points and four other points. It's been published for quite a while. Apparently Rush Limpwad didn't tell you about it, and you don't read a real newspaper or keep up with the news. I'll bet that you know all about how Rush mocked Michael J. Fox and everyone who has parkinson's and how that went.

You will have to follow the link to get the details as much of the page is done in images instead of just ASCII text. I doubt that you will read it,as you are filled with fear brought to you by a failed Republican party that is only blaming others instead of getting their agenda done.
You might want to look at it just to find out what's coming, because it's coming according to every poll that matters.
No doubt you will continue to do what a dwindling minority of Republican loyalists do and continue to ignore the facts and the reality of the situation. The House is lost to Republicans, possibly the Senate. Once Dubya is seen for the lame duck that he is, he will be replaced with a liberal Democrat as well. Reclaiming the judiciary will take longer, but they have already shown that much of what has been done by Republicans is unconstitutional. Hopefully the Democrats will obtain enough seats to overturn a veto and show that the American people are back in control.

I really don't believe that being gay is a decision that is made by anyone. Exactly when did you all decide to become heterosexual? I dont recall making the decision to be exclusively with women at any point in my life. I've worked with tons of little ones in "the system" that are extremely effeminant and have not had the exposure to the real world to base those decisions on. I've seen some of them in their older years now and they live a homosexual lifestyle. It could definitely be argued that facilities can sometimes be a breeding ground for homosexuality but that's a different discussion.

I just don't see the big deal with allowing gay couples to have the same rights that I have as a heterosexual male. If I were sick and in the hospital I would definitely want my future wife to be there with me. Why, just because someone is gay, can't their partner be afforded the same fawkin' courtesy? It doesn't change my life in the least if they are.

I know several gay people and a few couples (guys and gals) from back home. I definitely don't know any here. Woodland Park is so fawkin close-minded and I don't get anywhere else enough but I'm certain that Springs is the same.

Along the same lines, I think it sucks that politics gets involved with the education of our youth. My district cut out the health curriculum entirely. We contracted out some BS organization to come in and do a week long sex ed. clinic where abstinence was the only thing taught or you go straight to hell. How is that education?

Then start being part of the solution. The problem isn't us, it's Washington. Clintons biggest mission was to reform healthcare, but he couldn't get it done. The Republicans had a great idea with their Contract, but didn't get it done. Osama Bin Laden is still not done. Senator McCain get up in front of cameras every year and points out all the pork and waste. He is a respected war hero and he can't do anything about it. It's rediculous. He has shouted about campaign finance reform for years, nothing. Washington is the problem.

Let's reform campaign financing. Let's reform health care. Let's give the President line item veto power. Lets stop all the pork attatched to every bill that's passed. Let have a flat rate income tax across the board. Everyone pays the same, no exceptions. Let's stop corprate wellfare. Can you belive we gave tax money to the oil companies in this time of record profit? Let's curtail the power of the lobyists. Let's do something about the rampant corruption. There are plenty of things to do, plenty of ideas, plenty of solutions. Nothing will ever change with what we have sitting in Washington right now. Every year we have the same delima. Trying to fingure out who is going to screw up the country the least, instead of figuring out who is going to take us the farthest. I wish we could fire everyone of them and start over.

First of all I suggest you s#!tcan the personal attack.I can read and I can think coherantly-You dont know me so how dare you question my thinking ability or reading comprehension,you crossed the line with that little excerpt.You say I insulted you- when?If using the words "ilk" or"lefty brethern" is insulting you then you need to grow a thicker skin.I haven't questioned your intelligence or reading ability or anything along those lines,in fact I've been very careful to avoid personal attacks on you (or anyone else) this entire thread, so why do you feel the need to do it to me.Dems/Libs are always preaching tolerance yet you seem to have become intolerant of my OPINIONS- which makes you a hypocrite in my eyes (If you're true to your obvious liberal beliefs).
I did read the Dems plan at the link you posted and you know what, I read it with the same attitude you've displayed (very one-sided).All I saw was propoganda.It sounds real nice on paper but I'll believe it when I see it I see it happen.You go on about all the corrupt Repubs- just remember the last Dem we had in the White House was too busy covering his ass from one scandal to next to be any kind of effective President- he just rode on Reagan's coattails.

Oh wait its called Edrama.. apparantly this place cant go with out it. So play like good little boys and girls please.


As for each parties agenda or propaganda or whatever you want to call it. It is usually the people who sit on their butts and dont vote who are always bitching. If your a Rep. and want to vote straight ticket do so, if you a dem and want to vote straight ticket do so. If you really want to make a impact take a long look at the canidates and the issues they back and vote from there. I for one vote for my pocket book, and the education my children are gonna recieve, I feel the politicians should stay out of the class rooms and let the teachers do what they are trained to do, thats one reason I support Ritter, he is a backer of the public education system and middle class labor. Beauprex is a hard core charter school backer and wants to tell school districts where to spend there money and how to educate, he also supports big business.
