BTW, have you ever thought to machine a groove into the cover to allow the use of an "O" ring instead of a gasket or silicon?
Thats what I would recommend, the lubelocker gasket is the best invention for axles in the last 10 years...Always seals and no more RTV!
They are a big deal!plus no need to add the cost of a custom o-ring gasket and extra machining on the diff covers
Hundreds of them in use as a front...Yeah, I imagine machining the groove seems simple but when I think about it, its not. Plus with all the different types of covers...yikes. Nevermind I said anything. heehee!
Do you think there would be any issue with a 44 cover on the front? Steering etc?
