have you seen the 8.8 pinion gear next to a d44 pinion gear and a dana 60 pinion gear?
same for ring gear. If you are starting from scratch, and do not find a deal on a 44 , i would consider the 31 spline 8.8 with stock shafts and leave it at that, other than a full case locker and gears (cover and truss too) . It can take hell just like that. I am building a 8.8 with full spool, 4.88s, 31 spline chromos, c clip elim kit with massive outer bearings, a truss, and a ruffstuff cover. Thats going to be backup in case i ever blow up the currie hi9 rear ....
We planned on camping at Spider lake the first day (Friday). We set up our tents and the Sheriff said we could not camp there and that we needed to either go back and camp on the slabs by the little sluice or push on to Buck Island. So we packed up and pushed on to Buck Island in the dark and arrived at Buck Island at 11:00pm. It was a very long day.

Nothing big the first one is us leaving Buck Island and the second one is me taking the bypass to the little sluice. The bypass does not look to bad on video but its actualy really steep and gives the fealing that you are going to roll it. I am not to sure if we had any action video but I will post as I get it. I do have a nice picture of a bent YJ frame from me yanking it off of a boulder on Cadilac Hill I will post that soon.
