One thing we have learned is that Joel really knows his shi...um, stuff. 2 tube will suit you well for playing, and a lot of the racers are still using a 2 tube setup. I think you will be very happy.

Definitely, from EVERYBODY I've talked to he's the man to talk to about tuning, I just got lucky and peaked his interest with my build. You get lucky every once in a while

Definitely won't be a garage queen, never has been never will be. It's going to be a badass prerunner though, and chase/support vehicle. Just something for me to go toy around with and have fun. Later I may build a race car, I would LOVE to race, but not sure it would be a Jeepspeed.

is it just sitting at your house? make a list of what can be done just general labor wise and me and the boys will come over and wrench on it some weekend. anything that doesnt need to be fabbed up we can get it done, so you can move on.

Haha that's the problem, most things need to be fabbed up from this point. Few things...

*Remove Dash (carefully... no sawzalls )
*Remove insulation from inside
*Remove & Relocate Battery & Airbox
*Relocate Wire Harness underhood for engine cage
*Remove Alcans & Install Deavers

i can come help you get the dash out when we swap the saturn parts. it only takes about a half hour. we can strip the rest of the interior at that time too.

Haha that's the problem, most things need to be fabbed up from this point. Few things...

*Remove Dash (carefully... no sawzalls )

*Remove & Relocate Battery & Airbox
*Relocate Wire Harness underhood for engine cage
*Remove Alcans & Install Deavers

Dash- GRIMM

Insulation- Which insulation? The stuff glued to the floor under carpet?

Remove/Relocate Battery- Do you have power wire and battery box as well as location where it is going yet?

Remove Airbox- Easy enough

Relocate Airbox- Wouldn't this have to wait until you get engine cage in?

Relocate wire harness for engine cage- Do you plan on just moving it as much as you can or what?

Remove Alcans/ Install Deavers- You are going to need to break the deavers down to main leaf and get a block the size of others so you can fab your mounting points and check your suspension first, don't forget.

Which Deavers are those? They look too arched to be G5s. Did you do the custom 4.5-5" packs like I did?

Mj springs are quite a bit longer than Xj springs.

i noticed this when i helped lift a friends MJ do MJ springs actually net any lift? or are they just longer and softer

rear MJ springs are sprung under. so mount them SOA and youll get like 4 inches...

wait are we talking about coil or leaf springs? cause the MJ coil springs are about an 1' or so longer looking then stock XJ coils. and we SOA's my buddies MJ i was talking about

Sorry, already sold them to XJFrankie, just gotta get them off my junk.

Not really sure actually, they were a custom pack for buggy that I bought from Cal a few months back. I sent them in to Deaver and had them re-worked for a heavier Jeepspeed type setup and had them do a full race prep.

Won't work, and nobody makes a GOOD spring for the MJ. They're either all AAL's or SOA swaps which leaves you with stock gay springs.
