cage with a sunroof

i will be building a cage shortly. have it all figured out except for the roof. i have a sunroof which i would like to maintain the usability of. im starting to think it wont be possible though. i could maybe make the center part removable but thats a lot of messing around. will this expertly drawn cage doing anything for the roof? im thinking no. anyone have any ideas or have worked around something similar? this is my first attempt at making a cage so i will take all the help i can get. cage material will be 1.5" .120 wall DOM.

I was just thinking of adding a sun roof into my rig that has a cage. where did you get the sunroof from ?

id say, just build the cage pretending like the sun roof isn't there, and if a few bars go across, oh well , it will still give some light. Id hate to be in the position where I was like man, I really really wish I didn't build this cage around the sunroof and wish I did it across.

Id hate to be in the position where I was like man, I really really wish I didn't build this cage around the sunroof and wish I did it across.

sunroof was in the jeep when i bought it. it has the name on it, but i cant think of it.

and i also would hate to be in that position. maybe the removable tubes would be the best bet. me and heat dont get along so i have that sunroof open all the time.

Is yours like mine where the glass isnt meant to come out all the way? Mine just raises up

My plan was to box in the area around the sunroof glass and tie the "sunroof halo" into the cab halo. That way in a rollover you still have sound structure and tie ins at the corner nodes but it wouldnt leave a massive gap in protection at the center.... Plus the glass would still be serviceable and removeable

there was a purple jeep at one of the tellico crawls. He had cage and sunroof. purple with silver cage work. Find those photos.
