Heck, even my son's rig blew its transfer case over the weekend, so all I have right now is a bone stock '88.
Uggghhhh!
More motivation to work in a garage that is over 100* inside.

The nieghbors are moving out soon so I'll be able to open the garage up way early without disturbing anyone.

I do hate this part of the project.
It seems as though I am getting further and further away from my wheelable rig with no progress toward being able to wheel again...

But....today I head out of town to pick up metal.
Lets see if I can make any progress toward my build by Monday.

I just was able to start working on it again this weekend (it has been six weeks since I worked on my own junk!)

BTW its only 112* today, a regular cooling trend developing out here in the dez.

This is the progress I made on the project last weekend.
I'm planning on spending most of this weekend working on it as well.
Although if the humidity out here gets out of hand, I'll probably go SCUBA
diving instead.

This mornings progress.
Last night we had a '5th Quarter' party at our church, and I am beat...still managed to get up at 5am and get this done before it got too damn hot and humid in the garage.

Tomorrow I'm going to start on the front end...
I wonder if California Metals is open today, I'm running out of tube!
