Sooo I dont think my junk will be ready for this one... however I hope to make it up anyway. I am going to try and get the rear axle done before this but that still leaves me SOL with regard to regearing the front. If I can work some magic and get it done then I will.. but I will likely either be driving up in the Altima or a Jeep that cant use 4wd
Something in the rear end of my Jeep is making angrier and angrier noises right now actually, I'm hoping it's either the 8.25/driveshaft or my exhaust or maybe just grinding noises from the transmission coming through the unibody in a funny way. My suspicion is that I've been "just living with" the driveshaft vibrations for too long. I think I might drop the 8.8 in within the next week or two whether I can figure out the right driveshaft length or not.

If all else fails, it looks like I'll be buying the MJ within a week or two at the most, so I'll drive that up if my XJ blows up.

Ross - should I pull the carrier/bearings/shafts out of the 8.8 or are they OK to leave in while preheating it? Also, are you going to be around anytime between now and 2/13? We have TCUs to chop up and axles to weld...

does anybody have a preference caesar salad or regular??

Just bring green stuff, I don't know what the difference is between those two anyways hahah

one has croutons shredded cheese and dressing the other has tomatoes and onions and other nasty stuff

personally i like caesar better so i think thats what im bringin and if u dont like it lotty and i will eat it on the ride home haha

sounds good

Caesar's my preference, I'll eat either though.

Chef salad is pretty good too... loaded up on ham/cheese/chicken/other stuff, way more expensive to make though.

Colin and Travis, are you seriously bringing Panos? You guys are such tards.

I need a ride, Jeep won't be functional, yet again.

will find out later this week if i'll be able to make it..when i go back to work on weds, maybe i'll just tell the scheduler that i need the 13th off..

and if i can make it,i'll bring several different types of pies..

i can bring the steel one i have...it runs off acetylene. will put a potato into orbit but it hasta be frozen or it just explodes

we tried actylene in a PVC gun...not a good idea

My potato cannon uses less fire and more compressed air.. About on par with a normal aerosol cannon... No fire makes it less cool... but a normal potato cannon with aerosol fires at around 20psi IIRC. Mine is regulated to around 120psi :D

And I can shoot liquid or whatever I want out of it since the barrel and chamber are completely independent. I should dig that thing out one of these days...

now thats just getting too involved...fire and explosion and flying vegetables is way easier haha

I agree...

BUT I did this for my highschool science fair project. I did a study on the affect of increased pressure behind a projectile and the reduction of gains at higher pressures...

...and I managed to come up with an excuse to build a remote fired pneumatic cannon for a school project, which in turn won me an honorable mention in the school science fair . The cannon I built for this project was fired by a remote up to 50 ft away (for "safety", and since the handheld pneumatic cannon that I already had wasn't "precise" (aka expensive) enough, so instead of opening a valve by hand I used an electronically operated valve :D)
