All Utah XJ's going to Moab 20yr event please read

I don't know, it belongs to someone else. I still haven't figured out how to do one of my own. JeepXJ92 you should stop in and say hey sometime. I work at the Four Wheel Parts in Riverdale, where the old Mr. 4x4 used to be.

Stinkin' giant XJ drivin' Avatar stealers anyway;)..........I'll bet if you sent a picture to Marc of your Jeep, he'd be glad to make an Avatar of YOUR rig for you.....hehehehe
4WPW you say? Is that your red Jeep always parked out front? I'll drop by sometime.

Well if I could ever meet him in person that would be great. I've talked to him alot over the web and via mutual friends , but I never have met the guy. Really though I can't wait to meet all of you guys. I have been wanting to start a Utah chapter for along time now. With the growing #'s of built XJ's around here I think we would have a pretty large group. Would anybody be intrested in doing some type of get togethor before then? I was thinking maybe a BBQ in a park somewhere or possably a quik run up a canyon.party1:

I think it would be great to get the Utah XJers together; however, I won't be back in town for another 10 days. If I miss any gathering before Moab then I'll meet you in October.

Big Bear, what's the return policy on steering stabs? I bought one about 40-45 days ago but never installed it and don't think I'll need it. No big deal if you can't take it back. I'll save for later.

Tom

I think there's a lot of interest in getting a large group of locals together, but time is tight for a lot of us right now. That's the reason I suggested a formal get together after the Moab event so we can do some chapter planning as well. We should all be better educated as to what is involved in starting and running a local chapter with the info we glean from those at the event who have already been down this road.

I've heard he's kind of a bastid and has absolutely no respect for anyone elses rig.......:D

Yeah,
I started going over my ta do list last night and relized I will be lucky to have everything done by Oct. It's hard to believ that it's sept. allready.
Tom I don't see a probam with returning that stabilizer as long as you have the original box and hardware.
Mark, remind me not to let you spot for me. You might try to take me through the easy way. By the way the control arms look great. I picked mine up from Carl and Vaughn about two weeks ago and I love them. Pure beef. I also had them bend me up a skid plate, It is sweet.
:wierd:

It's official, I have the Wednesday the 8th through Friday the 10th of October off so I will definantly be down there from those days through Saturday and maybe Sunday! only a few weeks away!

At Mineral Basin we discussed doing a "locals only" unofficial Fins & Things trail I believe on Thursday the 9th, meeting at 9:00 AM I think(climbon?), in the Slickrock Bike Trail parking lot a little ways past baby lions back. It will be good to get together for a run and do some more chapter formation discussion while we are all down at Moab.

ps anyone interested in an early bike ride that morning?

The ZJ is welcome. Is the teardrop painted to match your XJ? :)

With Everybody coming and going on different days, I think a formal get together after Moab would be a better idea.

ZJ/Teardrop

It's Aluminum outside with black fenders (which match the ZJ). Love the thing and so does Reese. stoked about Boys week out. By the way this is the best escape hatch i have ever thought of, take the kids and Whala you are the best father ever, at least My wife thinks so. which I am of course!

I should arive sometime about 10/5 and I will be leaving for home sometime after the event, never know, I might wanna hit a few more trails afterwords ;)

Registered at the moab valley R/V Park, Setup for a cabin.

Look forward to meeting you all!

I agree, hopefully alot of us Utahns can get together after Moab and before the holidays and have a real formal style planning session. I think XJEEPER was the first to suggest that idea and I am interested to see what he can come up with given his experience with NAXJA etc. We shall see after Moab.

In the mean time if you are going to be down in Moab on Thursday Oct. 8th, the idea was submitted to get together any Utahns who can make it that morning and do an unsponsored run on Fins and Things together . If some can make it, why shouldn't we kill two birds and discuss the Utah Chapter issue? I think it is a great idea for that reason and the following; I for one am going to be there that day and I would love to run that trail for the first time with you guys so I'm definantly Interested! Who else can make it?

PS I suspect the title of this thread is somehow confusing to out of state folks.:)
