I've been working on my buddy's '99, so excuse me if I name anything wrong. It's not mine.
It's a '99 with the I-6 and AW4.
Quick happenings:
K&N cone filter sucked in a gallon of water.
Flat towed it about 15 miles. Tranny and T-Case in neutral.
Too much water in the engine to crank.
Pulled the plugs and cranked it to get water out.
Shop vacced cylinders and intake manifold.
Cleaned plugs, distributor, rotor, and ends of wires.
Blow Dryer used on everything
Liberal use of starting fluid.
Engine starts.
Problem:
In second gear, only in second, at between 1950-2500 RPMs there's a gargle in engine speed. Also, while coming to a stop, it dies.
Sound while driving:
Bwaaaeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-bwaaaaaaeeeee-gargle-eeiiiiiiiiii-bwaaaaaaaeeeeeeeeeeiiii-bwaaaaeeeeeeiiiiii.
Solutions?
Maybe moistures still somewhere?
