Aetna Re-run trip.

Ed are you going to make it out to Aetna this trip?

Planning on it. I've got to get with mbogosia to see if he still wants to ride down with his 4 wheeler.

What time do you Nashville and surrounding areas plan on heading out?

I haven't heard from anyone else in Nashville going. Matt said he'd like to go but that was it.

It should be a beautiful day for riding. If anyone else wants to caravan from Mid TN, let me know. I just jump on I-24 at exit 110 in Manchester.

Are you wanting to go?

bling bling.... what did 4wheelparts think of that?

"Yes Sir, Mr. Malcom, we will order all new parts and get you back on the trail as soon as possible, and we will retorque the front ring gear bolts just to make sure. Oh, and let us replace that leaking axle seal while we are in there."

"All under warranty, free of charge."

I gots these bitches trained....

He paid for it the first time, but he bought the extended warranty on the parts they install. Anything 4wheelparts installs is covered, for an extremely good price... So if it breaks, he pays absolutely nothing, not for parts, not for installs. Its a sweet deal.

Its a sweet deal.

to say the least! let me see, if you could pay $300 to cover any work they do on your rig for 3 years, wouldn't you do it too? and it's renewable... so after the first three years are up, you can add another 3 years :guitar:

Heck yeah it is, and its on everything, including "wear parts" such as that axle seal that normally wouldn't be covered. The deal wouldnt be worth it if you just had something small installed by them, but for 2 complete axle assemblies, driveshafts, etc, it would be stupid to not buy it. If anything goes wrong, even once, chances are that it will pay for itself the first time.

see you guys in the morning

We had a good turn out with SEOR. There were several NAXJA members in our bunch too. We ran a lot of trails today. Several I havent been on.

All the XJs did really good too. Had 5 of them with us.

I'm beat. X2 on what Box said. We had a great time. There was a little mud in spots but extremely dry.

Thanks to Team Willys for planning our ride and doing a great job being trail leader!

Had a blast!

Big thanks to Team Willys, for the tow off the mountain, and my apologies to the rest of the gang for being "that guy" who breaks on the trail and holds everyone up!

It was very nice to meet all the new faces, and i'll be sure to post pics of the caues of those terrible noises coming from my front diff.

Struggle on.

front ring and pinion?

front ring and pinion?

We were pretty sure that is what it was. Also lost a rear driveshaft slip yoke. Blew the ears off.

Team Willy broke a rear axle shaft.

Fun stuff.

Awesome trip!!! couldn't have asked for better weather!

i'll work on the pics... no worries, lol. and it'll take longer, but i'm gonna try to get some video up too.

i blew a bead? does that count for breaking? :dunno:

I forgot about your tire. Team Willy had leaking problems with a tire too. I know Box put a few mild dings in his ride.

Pics and video will be nice to see.
