Alright guys and gals! Since the windrock trip is through, and it was another success, its time to plan the next one. The last Aetna trip wasn't all that fun for you guys because you didn't know where to go. Well, I talked to Ed and it seems as if everyone would like to try it again. This time I will go and show you guys around. I have looked at my calender, and it seems that Saturday, April 25 would be good for me. However, I also have other days availible. So, lets hear your opinions, and we will set a date for the official guided re-run of the infamous Mount Aetna! Rebecca, Can we get a Hell Yeah?

I would love to go. I know Shrek is trying to plan a M&G either the 11th or 25th.

I've PM'd Tyler some info. Hopefully we can make all the dates work out.

Well, its up to you guys, I want suggestions. I just threw that date up there because it would work for me, and it gives everyone time to fix their stuff. The more people, the merrier, so I want to pick a date that is good for our "usual" group, as well as whoever else would like to join us. But that date is far from set in stone right now, if it works for everyone else, that is great and that's when it will be, but I want everyones opinions before a final date is set up.

Hey, I'd love to make it out to Aetna. Looks like right now the majoity of our M&G would like to have it on the 11th. Lets say if that trend cont. we will have the M&G on the 11th and Aetna on the 25th. There will be a long haul award for who ever comes the farthest distance. Nudge nudge East & West TN guys and gals. I plan on this thing being big and worth the trip.

It's worth the trip, when you have someone who knows their way around... which Tyler does! (he's been riding there for several years, that i know of)

...it's probably not on the "places to ride" because its not an "offroad park"... its just land, with trails, that is free to ride on...

OK, directiuons to Aetna: It is off of I-24, exit 174. As you get off, you turn right if you are on 24 East, and left (and back under the interstate) if you are headed west on 24. This is Cummings HWY. Take the first right onto Birmingham HWY. You will see a Cracker Barrel, Waffle house, Taco Hell, and a hotel or two on your left. Keep going past them and make the first right onto Cummings RD. Then, take the first left. This will take you into a subdivision. After entering, you will come to a "T" in the road. Turn left and you will be on the gravel road/trail that leads up the mountain. When we go, we usually park our Tow vehicles at the Taco Bell or Cracker Barrel and Drive our trail rigs the 1/4 mile to the trail. Sorry I don't have a specific address. I figured we coulod all meet at the Cracker Barrel and then go from there.

Yes, That is correct. That airial is several years old though, there is now a paved road that goes in there. It loops around to the back of the neighborhood. And like I said, when it "T"s you take a left and you are at the start of the trail. It really isnt hard to find at all.

this is where is it at... like i said the arial is way off its 2 years old there is a whole new road there where the red line is... but you can see that road on the driving view of google...

I would like to encourage everyone to go that can. We will be having a good time no matter what, and I promise, I won't stop at the PB hole to have a 4 hour lunch/beer break lol.
