XJ Needed

My son will be home on leave next week and wants to purchase a 90s XJ or MJ while he is here so that he can drive it to his first duty station. If you see any bargains please let me know.

We found a 95 on craigslist. $1900 and needs a little front clip work but the engine is sound and we're already swapping the parts from the 4-banger. It already has offset rims so we can put on some bigger tires before leaving. Jesse is headed to Cherry Point, NC, for his first station.

He's a Marine?

100% jarhead. He did well in basic training, getting company high shooter and then graduated top in his tech school for avionics. We sent the old 4-banger, Norbert, to pull-n-save this afternoon. Glad to have that out of the driveway!

That indeed was Norbert. He wasn't running right at the time although a couple of weeks later we were able to wheel again. Jesse took him through a mud hole and ruined the engine along with tweaking the frame and filling the entire thing with mud and sand. Rest in peace.
