WTB: drivers side window

i need a window for the drivers side front door of my 95 4door xj. its not the full window i have the little stationary vent glass thingy.

my baby was violated last night so i need this ASAP! until i get it fixed i cant keep my jeep at my apt and this is the only thing i have to drive everyday. HELP

that sucks! I hate thieves more than anything, I sometimes day dream about finding somebody trying to violate my rig, take some aggression out
I have a complete door you are welcome to, from a 1991 4-door, has all glass etc, white, you are welcome to it. I do some work down in Torrance sometimes but won't be going down there anytime soon, you are welcome to come up here and grab it. 93001

i picked one up at the junkyard this morning thanks very much tho. i just cant get the damn thing to line up right. anyone have experience aligning a front door window on an xj? ive changed out well over 50 old chevy and ford windows and windshields (my dad used to cut glass for chopped hotrods and i put em back in for him when he got older), i just cant get this thing to line up right

i think a BFH is what started this whole problem in the first place! :doh:

Glad you got one, sorry I didn't get the PM until now.

I've had them go in easy and some take forever.

i finally figured it out, had to take the other doorpanel off to see what i did wrong. the bolt that goes thru the bottom of the glass is on a pivot, and it needs to be in the upper position above the pivot. i had it below because i had no reference point. thats why it was locking up before it got all the way up, it was running out of track on the regulator :doh:


it was actually my wife who walked up and said hey this side looks different :gag:
now she wont stop going on about how SHE fixed MY truck. geeeez
