Just thought I would come here first looking for "THE" hood vents to hopefully stop my heat soaking, rough starting, code throwing, too hot to open the hood, problem. :pirate1:
 
I've got a set floating around somewhere on Southern California. If interested, I'll sell them for what I paid, plus shipping. I believe I paid $50, but I'll verify that as well. I ended up going a different route, so no longer need them.

I'm sorry for the delayed response. We've been looking for them, but they haven't turned up. Unfortunately, this isn't looking good.

I had bought them to use for myself, and ended up doing something different. I left them with a friend in SoCal, and figured I'd sell them eventually. This was 18 months ago, and they appear to have gotten misplaced somewhere in the shuffle.

I apologize for offering them up before I knew exactly where they were. We will keep looking for them, but I am holding out little hope at this point of finding them. I'm sorry I interrupted your search for these vents.

In the event they show up and you haven't purchased some already, I will certainly let you know first.

Glad you were able to find some quickly! Hope they help your cooling issues. I know my vents (not LeBaron) seem to have helped a great deal.

These things are like gold now. Around the time I did my write-up on them I found about 8 sets at pick n pull. Guy at the window thought I was crazy and they were dirt cheap. They've caught on since then but there not as common now either. I sold those sets for $20 - $30 shipped.
 
I got mine years ago for 24$ at pnp, maybe 6 to 8 years ago. I figured they would be easy to find.
 
They are hard to fine now. I went to a couple of PnP and no luck so I got mine off of EBay for $70 after loosing out on some bids. Crazy expensive but it is a two hour round trip drive to the nearest PnP from here so I felt a little hemmed in.

ya it was around the time when they went from the i dont give a crap at all pricing to just starting to raise prices and be dicks on pricing. I remember way back in the day, I would go there, and basically haggle them down on prices to next to nothing all the time and they didnt give a crap. those were the days. Now its actually cheaper to find parts on craigslist or even regular junk yards that pull parts for you.
