thanks John. i struggle with overhead/upside down welding, but im starting to figure it out. im pretty confident they'll stick at this point at least.
so i drove this thing around a couple times already, and so far so good except for the brakes grinding in the rear (at least that's what i hope it is). might get the rotors turned to see if that helps. one was pretty rusty.
one thing i noticed is that it isnt roasting tires all over like i expected. It used to spin them pretty easily with the 3.07's. even in second a little. with the 4.56's it barely breaks free, even in a corner when i'm on it. i wonder if the increased travel is helping keep the tire on the ground. it isnt the locker because it's an elocker and it's off. i dont see this as a bad thing, obviously traction is good. just an obervation. anyone else notice this when changing gears?
got the last of the welding done (i hope). pretty much ready to get the locker and shafts in the new axle and drop it in, hopefully tomorrow.
