Why can't I edit my own posts?

I have a thread in the for sale forum and I can't edit it to show in the original post what is sold and still available.

My "posting rules" says I may edit my posts, but I see no edit button.

I keep getting PM's (probably 15 since I posted that they were sold) about prices on my D30 gears, lockrite and rock ring but they sold 2 weeks ago and I have replied later in the thread stating so but obviously people don't read that far. It's just getting annoying. :confused1

hmmm..... I can edit my post in this forum, but not the for sale forum, even though the "posting rules" says I am able to edit in both.

There's a time limit on editing posts, I think it's like 2 hours.

Guess you'r right, the edit function has disappeared from this thread for me.
