If they're paying, I would let them do it too.

LOL! It sounded as though you were well on your way to a 4.5-5" lift all the way around, that's all I ment. It sounds like the rig is coming along nicely.

Sean ... I'll spend Thursday morning hauling up straw and wood, then set up camp that afternoon. I should be available to help after getting that all done.

HAD the oil changed on Monday

Shizzle, that reminds me... gotta change the oil and the fuel filters in the Sub. Good thing wifey is spending the weekend with friends.

Well, I have another brake problem. Was going to hook up the 8.8 soft line to the hard line on the xj and found some pretty rusty line with some holes. Now I have to get the heep to a service shop and have that hard line replaced. So close yet so far away.

Service shop for brake lines?
Comon bud, that's a 30 minute job IF you milk it.
Just measure the old lines and buy new ones.

I can finally say I am done with the 8.8. Brakes work, breather tube relocated, and everything else that goes with it. No vibes anywhere yet. Got the exhaust fixed also. Couple more things to address and I should be ready. Anybody have any short shocks that I can put in the rear. I am bottoming out really bad and I am afraid that one will break. I also need a passenger side vent window. Anyone have one available?

Learn to use a double flaring tool and you will become fearless about fixing brake systems.

I believe that Rev has some 2 door windows - check the WF swap meet thread...

as for short shocks - I have some Procrap ES3000's on my rig that are too short for me - they were fine with my 3" rear lift - but now at 6" are too short...

what is too long for you might be just right for me?

I am willing to give up my rear shocks if you have something shorter to work for me. Anything to stop the severe bottoming out. I will be there Thursday morning 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. Leaving late Wednesday night. I seen you will be there Wed. or Thurs. so if we can I would like to do this Thursday. Let me know.

Got my fs spare fixed. There wasn't any holes in it, but the mud of Haspen, Redbird, Turkey Bay and Rockport took it's toll and it was flat every 3-4 days. Dude at DiscountTire(fave tire place) said it was alot in there. Shudder to think about the other 4 still going strong.

The shocks I have now are from a Rough Country 3" lift and they are way to long. If Ranger does not want to swap than I will give your shocks a try. Thanks Bob.
