I'm looking for a local place to mill, drill, and tap my dana 44 knuckle for high steer. I am in Pleasanton, and would rather not have to mess with shipping to parts mike. Any options around here?

I ended up going the Parts Mike route since I had no luck locally for the price. It turned out to be cheaper for me to ship it to them than have the local shops do it. But I'm sure there is at least one in the local area. Maybe Shaffer's in Oakland, or the 4x shop out in Livermore?

How much did it cost you for shipping? Do they cover the return shipping?

I would second parts mike.

Parts Mike is a stand up dude. I'd figure out the shipping just to give him the business.

I'm not at my house yet. But when I finally get home I'll be able to give you an answer.

Okay, I finally got home. I found the receipt for when PM sent my arm back to me (with a steering arm and a stud kit) and it ran $12.79 for the shipping and handling. I don't remember how much I paid to have it shipped but I'm pretty sure it was about the same. This was all done using UPS.

Great, thank you so much for checking. After I recover from my most recent ruffstuff order I'll send it out to them.

And I called chassis unlimited in Livermore to see what they would charge and they wanted $90, if anyone was wondering.

soooo…did you get the ford reid knuckles from RS with 20% off? I was eyeballing those with envy the other day, almost pulled the trigger….

I found the knuckles last night on pirate. only one was drilled with studs.
