Went WAY past the boulder. Totally awesome trip, just me and the ex in my black XJ. Normally don't like going by myself but it was walking distance for help (my legs are good). After circumventing the boulder, climbing over two steep bulldozed "barricades", I came to a large barred gate with a no tresspassing sign and a camera on a post. Camera was ancient and clearly non-functional, but I do obey signs so I refrained from driving around the gate. I was well within view of the largest mine i've ever gazed upon. Never saw another soul from passing the boulder until returning. Very spooky.


If anyone ever wants a guide for that trip, let me know....totally in.

I dragged a few places with 35's, it could well be done with 33's if you had good spotter and a strap when needed.
