What Was Your First Car?

I'm just wondering what everyone's first car was. I'm 17 years old and my $800 '88 XJ is the second car i've owned. My first car was a 1995 Mustang GT. What was yours?

When I was 17 I got ahold of an '87 Wrangler. Good times, it was a money pit with a bad tranny, but I had fun. Will get another some day.

Mine was a 1997 ZJ that a f 350 ate. So with the insurance money I bought the XJ. I still miss it now and then just because of its size.

1966 Folksvagen Beetle - fully restored after I got it. I still kick myself for selling that car 18 years ago...

1979 Ford Bronco.. had a chance to buy it back about a year or so ago.. and regret not doing it.

1966 Renault Dauphine, crashed it into a gaurd rail at 60 mph(dozed off). I beat the fenders out and drove it home, it was totaled, both ends 18" shorter and the frame was twisted, but it drove! Tuff little bugger, kinda like a XJ.

First car I bought was a '52 Ford flathead, paid $40...that was a lot of lawns to cut way back then...I was 14 yrs old.

'67 Mustang with a 351W and C-6 from a Galaxy. Not a good winter car, hence the 65 6cyl in the background. The Corvair was my buddy's.

^^ reminded me that I drove my totaled zj away from the wreck while the f350 called a tow truck. The rear of the zj was completely smashed in while the f350's fender was bent and had a broken headlight...

My first I'm 18 now, and I'm still on my first car, my XJ.

well my first was a 76 ford f150.0 had a 6" lift dana 44 front and a ford 9" rear. not sure of the tranny it was a four speed with granny and the transfer case im pretty sure was a np203?. had the 300l6 in it too. with 33" mudders it was a monster while i was in high school.had it a year before i got my liscense to drive, I remeber working on it in the driveway with dad! man that was a lot of fun. seems like nothings changed, dad helped this weekend as I swapped engines in the xjs!

first car, 93 jeep cherokee, 4 door 5 speed. 700 dollars. Total rust bucket. ended up not being worth the money to repair the rotted floors.

2nd car, 94 cherokee, 2 door 5 speed. 1500 bucks, 60k miles. Great deal, got it in RI, luckly no rust at all considering there is so much salt in the air in RI

Funny...I almost thought that was my first car.

Mine was a Red 1960 Chevrolet Corvair.

my first car was a '77 datsun 280z. that inline six was quick. could break loose the tires going into 3rd.

1994 Honda Accord coupe. It was a hand me down from dad, looking back I should have kept that car, I'd probably be a much richer man!

I wanted my parents 91 Cherokee Sport... it was 2wd, but it was cool! They traded it in though when they bought their 98 Grand Cherokee
