1957 Dodge Coronet. Big old sled - Hauled ass too!

1982 Ford escort.

Yah i know a real winner, but it got me out of the house.

67 vw bug, sky blue. Rolled it driving up the switchbacks to mount baldy, sold it after I blew up the tranny trying to do burnouts in reverse.

1983 Vovlo 240Gl...for those of you who dont recall what it looks like, it's the box most other cars come in. I was convinced it was a racecar and drove it into a cement colvert after two weeks of having it. I drove it home with the steering wheel about 90 degrees to the right. Turning left onto my street was a five point turn.

First car owned: 1979 (I think) Fiat 127. Car was worth nothing on trade-in against the Honda Civic my mom had bought, so it went to me at the age of 13 to learn to drive in. A hoot to drive on wet grass in the fields.

First car legally put on the road: 1982 Ford Capri. Same basic bodystyle as the German-built Mercury Capri that predated the Mustang-based 'bubbleback' Capris. Lots of fun but didn't handle worth a damn; finally ended up going head-on into a stone wall with it after spinning out on black ice.

I was hellbent on purchasing a rusted out '91 5spd 4banger Ranger, but then bided my time and saved my money.

Got my '89 4cyl4spd MJ for $500, took a few months to fix 'er up nicely but now she's roadworthy and getting the body redone in the spring :D

All my paper route money ($500) was spent to buy a white 1970 Chevy Nova.
All the rest of my money got poured into the 307cid with three two barrels.
God I miss that car! It had a great back seat!!!

My first car was a Ford Galaxie 4 door I bought from the neighbor for $40. It ran and my dad taught me how to drive in it. Had a 352 and automatic. Pretty cool. Second car was a 1957 Chevy Belair 2 door with 283, 3 speed. It was black with origional red interior except for buckets and Hurst floor shifter!! Sweet car. I bought that one when I was just 16 years old. The first one I bought when I was 15.

1984 Dodge Omni. Carbuerated 2.2L 4-banger, 3-spd automatic trans. Stumbled into it at a used car lot in 1992.

Still have it, still street legal. I take it out now and again and exercise it to keep the carb from gumming up.

1965 Lemans 2dr sport coupe. 326 with a column 3 speed (soon to be swapped out for a Muncie 4 sp.) Maroon with black interior. Looked a whole lot like this one, but with the post, not the hard top.

Loved that car, never shoulda sold it for the POS '70 Chevelle bracket racer I thought I just had to have.....

I love those cars! We do stupid things (like selling a car we shouldn't) when we are young!

My first car was a '77 Buick Skylark, 3.8V6. Not bad rust for a Mich. car. I paid $75 for it. Needed a timing chain and a gas tank. I think I ended up with about 150.00 bucks in it. Ran great and was pretty good on gas.

Got a 1965 Mustang when i was 15 then thought it was a good idea to restore it since i still had a year before i could get my liscence. Now 4 years later it is still in pieces.

had an 01' z71 6inch lift, 35 inch bfg allterrains, and n fab bars, and flows. BUT sold to help my dad with a divorce.... got the jeep (91 xj with minor accesories and steadily modified). still 16 parents are still together and miss the truck but then remember how my jeep is better for offroad and is one of a kind at my school...
