08 chevy 2500 HD...extended cab regular bed. pics are on photobucket....army wont let me access the site.

have a 36' gooseneck, which loaded will gross over 18k....diesel hauls just fine at 70 and 11mpg.

Like your SRW, I've got one too. How much clearance do the wheels have inside of there? How do you get out of the jeep once it is inside? I'm looking for a trailer right now and have no idea where to start. Thanks.

Plenty of clearance with the JK stock wheels I think the trailer is 88" between inner fenders but the couch folded up is close. The wheels I put on for the trailer are 6" back space so it helps alot plus it drops the height so the Jeep goes under the bed. I have to climb out the drivers window to get out. I used to be able to crawl out the rear hatch but I put a cage and tire carrier in there now.

hey mac....how does that thing handle with those loads? i bet its got a shit ton of tongue weight

not really sure what the tongue weight is...the enclosed with over 13k on the axles i'm betting has at least 2k of tongue weight, plus the weight of stuff in the bed (still 1300lbs under what the rear axle is rated for). it handles, tows like a champ. even in a strong cross wind it was easy to tow, didn't feel like it was pushing me around like it did in the megacab with only one buggy inside. i wouldn't tow that enclosed with two buggys over a long distance with anything less than a 1 ton dually...the f450 loves everything about it...including fuel consumption :)

with my two place and two jeeps is pulls great. it almost feels like nothing after towing the enclosed around...

ive towed some enclosed trailers..up to 40 ft and always find they pull like hell compared to a low boy flat bed style..it does help tho that my truck is nine miles long and helps compensate for excessive tongue weight....pulled a 30 ft tongue pull with two xjs on it...far too much for a tongue pull i think

Picked up a tandem axle trailer, and i now tow with my brothers rig that he just bought last month.
03' common rail with BD twins. Tows my ZJ on the trailer as if its not even there!

Nice truck! Next time you have it loaded up with that huge trailer you should get a pic too!

i probably have one somewhere.....i just have to go through my plethora of pictures.

really shoulda taken the pic when we had our 'yota and my XJ on it.

Here is our tow rig/camper with our old jeep on the trailer.

Thats pretty impressive. What speed do you tow at? With my diesel I only get slightly better towing my XJ on a trailer (same if I have my parachute camper in the back)

I actually got a pic of mine in action this weekend.
