:D

The trails really are rutted and there really are logs that will grab your door handles, rendering your OTHER rear door useless. ;)

What a blast, you guys.

I can't count body damage however, mechanical...

TC seal (I covered a buick with ATF coming down Orting Valley Highway
1 Toyota rearend HOSED along with the winch bumper.

Good meeting you guys. Sorry about the slowdown with Josh. Once he started on the gravel road it drove "fine."

Hope you guys had some fun after we left - Looking to see some pics!

Damage report:

1/2 quart of oil blowby, which might explain the 19mpg I got driving down there (pretty sure my 4.0 is 4 cylinders gas and 2 diesel :D).
Destroyed bumper cap.
Caved in door handle.
Torn rear fender and flare.

Here's some crappy cell phone pics to tide everyone over till the real photographers post up ;)

Matt's new gas tank skid, which he installed himself. Nice work with the zip ties, however, the gas tank is usually on the BOTTOM of the jeep. Maybe it helps gas mileage or keeps bugs off the spare? :roflmao:

Matt and I parked on the switchbacks, waiting for John and Phil to bend some sheetmetal:

Matt on the switchbacks/520. What percentage of the pics in the NWC are of Matt's rig?

John, looking cool just parked:

John generously donated his rear quarter emblem to this log (yes that's how we found it):

Poser shot, minus John (he's already down the hill in the shade, airing up and beering down):

Hello Kitty failed to save the bumper cap. I can't actually reccommend this brand of body armor. :thumbdn:

There's a root on the switchbacks somewhere that goes by the name of 'can opener':

Swaybar disco and long LCAs are sweet, now it's time introduce Mr Heep to Mr DeWalt and trim some sheet metal :D

Good times!
