Welder in sac area needed.

Is there Anyone in the sac area that can bring a welder to my place and weld up the exhaust on my jeep? It's past reg by about a year so I can't drive it anywhere. I'm trying to get it smog ready and I currently have a lage hole that needs to be welded up. I'm located near the 80/80 interchange just off Madison.

Large hole where? If it's past the cat it doesn't matter.

No it's pre cat. Just after the x-member. I was thinking about maybe cutting the exhaust and having flanges welded that match my other jeep. Then swap the exhaust for smog and back after.

pull your exhaust off and bring it to someones place. if you unbolt it and bring it over and I could probably do it sometime at the house. i am stupid swamped right now so I would have to play it by ear. also before I commit, post pics. welding thin exhaust can suck if its rusted to hell. at that point I would suggest getting a new down pipe for 30$ or a pipe from the cat back for 20$. they are cheap.

so the downpipes to cat are only 40$ new. if that thing is all rusted to hell just replace it all .

Things may be different in Cali, but here in Colorado, you can get a 3 day tag to deal with things just like this.

Well I cut the exhaust off bc the hole was actually disconnecting the mid Camembert mount from the exhaust. It was about a $.50 piece size hole. I ordered a new front pipe and will be able to take it to Jon's to get welded when he has some time. Just need to get a flange and gasket now so I can replace it easier.
