Weekend is over...what did you get done?

I went to Winterfest. It was cold, but a lot of fun. Who knew so many people would be willing to show up to a quarry in the middle of northern Indiana and wheel....

I'd actually like to go some day but have been told it's not much on the wheeling side.

you can easily cover the entire park in a day but there are sections of the park that you can spend a while at. lots of rock sections with multiple lines.

Head over to the mission impossible side and there's some pretty legit wheelin spot too!

May make our 3 Jeep family into a 4 Jeep family this weekend. Looking at a 2013 Grand Cherokee Limited.

Swapped an NP241 transfer case into my '99 Suburban yesterday to get rid of the POS NP246 that was in it. Much better and no electronic shifter to fail aver again (on the t-case anyway).

This morning I started tearing out the interior of the green XJ I bought a while back. I've abandoned that project, so I'm swapping the interior from it into my white one.

Phase one is nearly complete.

Started with this

Not much was back there, no carpet or panels so the "out" pile was small

"New" stuff is grey. The interior from the green one was in surprisingly good condition, and having just the carpet and panels in the rear has cut down drastically on the road noise. Before, it was an assault on the senses driving down the highway in what amounted to a steel drum lol

Disassembled my tilt steering column so I could tighten up the E8 torx bolts. I haven't got it all the way apart but I could touch one of them and it wasn't even threaded in. Who knows what the other three look like.

Awesome! Too bad they all aren't 4.0's :eyes:

Between myself and my sisters we have 92, 96, 99 XJs and a 00 WJ all I6 :us:

Lets just say oil change supplies are bought in bulk. Plus I plan on inheriting my sisters XJ's when they decide to buy new cars

Went to Aiken and sold some 2 door doors. Was headed there for a reunion and a 100 year celebration to one of the schools I attended. Meet up with some friends I don't see often and even got to see one guy that was a year behind me I hadn't seen in 30 years. Drank some wine and danced with the GF and the gala as they called it Saturday night. Sunday I went to my Aunts property and cut some oak for the wood racks back at home. Had lunch and Old Mill Brewery and Pub in Lexington, SC. Got home and unloaded and split wood just in time for The Walking Dead!

It looked awful at the Crawl, probably be like a new(er) Jeep now :D

Yeah, it was rocking around like crazy. I'm going to pull the pins soon and will get a good view of how bad it is.

Tim was at the first NAXJA event, Winterfwst, and I was at the second, the Rides of March. AZ Rockfest and SoCal are next.

Which SEC member will be at them???

I worked on my column a bunch today. All 4 of the Torx bolts had completely unthreaded themselves. I was finally able to get everything back together and it seems like new. I got the high low beam fixed and after getting everything buttoned up something popped loose again. So it is back to the way it was. Oh well.
