Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Good! I prefer Napa myself, just wish they didn't have worse hours than a bank...

Quoted for absolute truth. Especially the one in Attica, IN.

"Oh, there is an offroad park in this podunk town? We better close at noon on Saturday and not open on Sunday, we will never make any money if we stay open."

I have an account with my local Oriellys, That's how much business I do with them!

Nice!! Their parts seem to be pretty good stuff, and the amount of parts that they can acquire for everything is nuts, in the store I work at there are 18 wheeler parts stocked. They told me there's nothing that they can't get

I actually just started my first day at O'Reilly's this past Tuesday, seems like a decent place to work, the discount if pretty cool too lol

I've been working for Oreilly's for the last couple of years, and yeah, the discount is awesome. They make up for that by ensuring you can't make enough money to survive on unless you become a store manager or higher. After 2 years I've been raised once, by 22 cents. I am an assistant manager with sales almost double that of any of the other counter guys, working for $8.22 an hour.
It is no longer my full time gig that I have to rely on, so I now work 1 or 2 days a week to keep my discount. I don't make enough money there to even claim them for unemployment when my real job shuts down at new year and midsummer.

No kidding. My saving grace is one of their main warehouses is literally feet in front of where I work, and they actually keep decent hours being a warehouse. If I don't get a chance to walk up there during the work day I can stop by on my way home.

College kid with a lifted Jeep working at a parts store....brings back memories. My discount got me into trouble when I worked at Advance during school :D. But on the flip side, when somebody asked me to work on their car I could get parts for a pretty good price and pass the savings down to them (which they liked).

Which O'Reilly's do you work at? So I know which one to come harass you at :D

For the first time ever I went to my clubs Christmas party last night(SWVa4W). Had a great time, family friendly, good food and they had some great gifts to give away in a drawing at the end of the night.

I won a 12k Bad Lands winch!

Nice score!

I found out the electrician that wired my house was a mouth breather. Breakers are all labeled wrong and control random things. Like the downstairs bathroom and upstairs hall... Installed a few new light fixtures for my parents and cleaned the garage out of all my jeep junk. Rewiredmy 220 garage outlets so I can run my air compressor, heater, and grinder without tripping the 30 amp breaker. Now I have the regular 30 amp and a 50 amp 220 for the welder and two other outlets.

Didn't do anything to the Jeep other than out gas in it. Hopefully next weekend I can go out wheeling with the club.

Put red LEDs in the YJ. They are brighter than they look in the photo but not blinding. I have always liked red dashes. The YJ will spend tomorrow in the driveway thanks to the block I the rear hose loosing its threads when I tried to replace a brake line.

Haha today I found out how much cheaper I could've gotten my brother a starter for if I'd been working there about 2 weeks ago. How exactly did your discount get you in trouble? Buy too many parts or something? Lol

I'm at the one on Wilkinson, right down from Coyote Joe's, come on by, I could use the sales to help with my monthly commission so I can dump more into my money pit :D

No kidding!? I work on that same street! Right behind Napa on Hargrove.

Careful down there at night...rough neighborhood.

I used to work for O'Reilly's. Worked there for four years. Assistant manager. The pay sucked but I LOVED the job. The discount was great too. Go buy yourself a battery. $120 battery costs you $42... $5 pack of light bulbs costs you $0.12.

Those were the fun days.

Nice!!! And yeah I've noticed that, there's some sketchy people around there that come in, I work with Jake from Mayhem Mustang, I like his Cobra

Yeah I noticed that, it's awesome! Haha I believe it's like 10% above cost is the discount, which can be huge depending on what it costed O'Reilly's to get it. It seems like a fun job so far, I work with some well....colorful people lol

Yeah...wait till you see the neighborhood "good time" come limping by. She usually comes up to our door begging for money a couple times of month.
