Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Make sure you get inside the frame rail and shoot some paint in the underside of the floors there too, preferably up into the crack between the flange on the frame rail and the floor inside the frame rail as well. Or it'll rust right back out.

Eastwoods Internal Chassis Coat is great for that, and comes with a spray wand that reaches into the frame through bolt holes and such.

I bolted the smiley face bumper on the DD Jeep.

Still need to add a bolt or two.

Oh yeah... Thanks, Stump, for bending the tube. I finally booger welded it all together.

Finished up the interior tonight. VERY glad with how it turned out!!!

Stay tuned for next weeks episode of 'stuff I have put off for to long on the green jeep' like, ball joints, steering box, traction bar, rocker replacements and some other little things.

Once that's done it's onto duramax hunt!!! This dude needs a tow rig BAD!

Way ahead of you on that. Paint was applied everywhere that was needed pre weld and of course post weld. Even used automotive seam sealer from Eastwood. Inside and out. Sucker isnt gonna rust or leak again.

Went to divorce court yesterday.... once it's filed I'll be official! Just got to pay her some equity somehow now....

Not quite... more like 26 -28....

Hey, have you? :conceited

I have actually. Remember when I almost broke the one and only windshield wiper in the parking lot of that restaurant we ate? I'd swear you thought you were driving a Ferrari that day.

I've seen him pull into a Zaxby's parking lot in the diesel on 2 tires once. Does that count?

See!! My point exactly.

i know its not the weekend but......

i work at a scrap yard. i claimed a 95 xj as my yard truck after a guy turned in a runner to the yard. it needed to be saved.

well today it got silly i tore down an old toyota camper. it was a dually. i found that the read wheels are 2 tires mounted to a single rim. with a 5 on 4.5 pattern.......

Got bit by a spider (didn't know it at the time)a few days ago and last night it was hurting pretty bad. Went in this morning and got it looked at the walk-in clinic. She said you need to get that taken care of today. So I came back at 11 am and they lanced it, drained it, packed it, and bandaged it. Sticking the needle in to numb it about killed me. That hurt. My pride was hurt worse than anything though, as all this occurred on my right butt cheek.

Stupid Brown Recluse spiders.

Ed, I'm sorry to hear about your butt cheek!
In lighter news, I am officially a home owner now! Signed the deeds and whatnot this evening. I'll be moving into my house in White House, Tn this weekend...

Wait till Harlan muddies that up a little bit :D

Got a wild hair and decided to start swapping my suspension out last night with Josh and another friend. Started around 8:00 and didn't get very far before the lower shock mount broke and a u-bolt stripped.

Off to get parts this morning and get everything wrapped up. All that'll be left will be to install the new steering at some point in the next couple of weeks, and figure out how to go about getting the odometer in the new gauge cluster reprogrammed.
