Picked up one of those head lights restoration kits today and polished up the headlights on my step dads Tundra in between A/C work for his father's day. For $26, the kit did a pretty decent job. Still had some fine scratches on it and some faint cloudy spots, but it's a vast improvement from how they were.
I assume the Tundra headlight covers are the plastic, like the ZJ and WJ were. In that case, a cheaper alternative. TOOTHPASTE. Yep, you read it right. Put some toothpaste on each headlight cover and massage it in like you would putting wax on the paint, then buff it out. Made a huge difference.
Get yourself a spare TPS dirk......or make a splash shield for it.

You probably need a driveshaft about 1-1.5" shorter, iirc.
95- right? Just get a driveshaft from the boneyard from a donor with the same engine/trans, 4x4, and either a d44 or 8.25 rear, made 95 or earlier.

I had heard and read about that in the past. Wasn't sure how well it worked. If/when they do it again, i'll give it a try.
This wouldn't be experience talking would it?![]()
It stays garaged, so not too worried when I'm home. Otherwise, when I get to doing overnights and camping, I was kind of thinking of just getting a couple large pieces of magnet and slap them over the vents during the night if rain is in the forecast.
I'll probably grab one, just in case though Aaron.
Yeah, two hours of hard rain between Lexington and Harlan is not good for the TPS. Molly drove my jeep to town the next morning before I drove it. she came back saying it was idling high....Thankfully Tim had a less shitty TPS in his Jeep.
