I finished painting the flares/bumpers on "Little Red" today then put them all back on the Jeep.

Removed the center console on the JK to clean up a spilled drink(it was causing the shifter to stick, smart move there Jeep, put the cup holders so when you slam on the brakes, a drink spills right into the shifter and down into the center console and floorboards)

Then repalced the CPS in my mom's 00XJ, it was on its way out, she said it would just die for no reason while driving along but would always re-start.

Instead of going to Gulches due to horrible sloppy muddy park conditions I took the time to round up my folks and take them down in the woods to scope out our new yard.

The time has come to do something about the tiny house we live in.

We found the perfect spot in the woods that overlooks the pond. Needs to be surveyed, clear and planted. Then by the end of this year we should be able to decide on a house.

I'll love this view as soon as the trees are thinned out. I intend to put the back of the house against the top of the hill overlooking the pond and build a huge deck off the back of the house. It's going to be awesome!

I'm excited. The new house will come with a new ~30 x 30 shop with a cement floor and a lift!

I like that. I had a similar idea that I wanted to incorporate an enclosed rod box when I redid my headliner but never followed through. MY buddy has a strap system in his Tahoe that does ok, but its difficult to get tight enough that it doesn't sag and get annoying, especially if you are sitting in the back seat.

I have done rear brakes and o2 sensor so far on the baby jeep. Not sure whats next, maybe massage some of the dents out of the door.

The o2 sensor gave up a real fight. After a copious amount of PB Blaster and heat, combined with cutting the sensor so I could get a socket on it, I finally prevailed. Then came the fight of removing the partial sensor from the socket (at least I didn't destroy the bench vise this time). This is the end result:

Make sure you run a sensor bung thread chaser through that, it looks like the next one in will be the last if you don't.

I was thinking the same thing. I guess I'm lucky but I have never had an issue with O2 sensors. I always soak them in PB, get the exhaust hot then remove them with a box end wrench.

Andy, that's a beautiful piece of land that you have. Is that were you are living now?

thanks. It seems to work ok. I'm gonna weld in a couple of rifle slots and an axe slot as well. Stay tuned

Finally ordered traction bar stuff from ruff stuff....Tired of spitting ujoints.

Oh and also picked up a hd 44 to narrow down for the front. Already have the 8.8 for the rear. Looking to have it in by Xmas this year.

wheres your old stuff going?

Not sure yet. There is a local guy interested. I have debated parting the rear 44 and keeping the Detroit for the new 44. But I hate to break up a 4.56 trussed 44 for the Detroit.....

Ill also have. 4.10 d30 out of the dd for sale. Would be perfect for a 8.8 swap. Got several upgraded parts on it.

i'd buy whats left of the 44 if it comes to that....

its getting harder to talk myself out of building a weekend warrior out of the 2dr with so many good parts on the market :D

i'd buy whats left of the 44 if it comes to that....for the right price ;)

That very well may be a possibility. Ill let you know.

That's how it was with my blue jeep. Until I drove it just like my beater. That stopped the wheeling of it.

Hah I try not to. At least until it gets an Exo. I've already smashed a little bit of the roof.

But as of now these krawlers are eating D30 shafts about every ride. So new axles got moved up high on the priority list.
