Weekend is over...what did you get done?

yeah

Havent really gotten anything done with finals coming up and calc 3 really kicking my ass. But I ordered some goodies for my toyota truck and the jeep while I was at it. The jeep will be getting some rock lights soon as will the toyota. Got a backup camera, and some metal for the toyota to build some junk and picked up a can-back soft top for it.

Looks real familiar. A good friend of mine wheels a 91, I'm about halfway through welding 2x6 box tube rocker replacements/rock sliders into the cab for him.

Good solid trucks, and their transmissions are very closely related to the AX15/AW4. I was surprised to find that out.

Yup they are great little trucks that last forever. Im building this one for camping and expeditionary traveling. I just finished a design for the sliders that I made in CAD that my buddy will be helping me make for this truck. And yes the transmissions are very closely related to what comes in the jeep. Found that out when I got under my buddy's 4runner with an auto and it looked almost just like the jeep AW4 haha.

yeah, the A340 is basically an AW4 and the R150/R151 is basically an AX15. All made by Aisin Warner. I've never seen a product I didn't like from that company.

Yeah.......interesting day on the trail!

Yeah.......interesting day on the trail!

1) you found a pack of zombies ?

2) kinda cool, the stickers are the only survivors and they seem to be holding your jeep together, lol

3) so much for the tire carrier idea

1. Yes

2. We thought that was hilarious too.

3. The tire took most of the impact and saved my unibody from getting bent.

Made more progress today.

Ron, my body and fender friend came over and pounded out some dents and put some mud on them. He will be back tomorrow to prime the roof and other spots. We got the bed installed today as well.

We are about a week away from this truck hitting pavement again!

The MJ is looking good again. Glad to see you bringing it back to life.

Mopar brush guard?
yes sir! saved it at the last minute from a jeep in upstate NY while visiting family. It and the jeep it was on, were on the back of a flat bed headed for the crusher, never knew this damn thing had so many parts

nice!

That bracket to clear the exhaust looks a little flexy to me... not sure how I would fix it, honestly. Everything else looks rock solid!

I know a good body and fender mechanic LOL!

Haha, If it was a 96- the hatch would already be open! :D now is just a matter of finding a hatch then getting the damn thing open so I can put the new one on.
