Seafoamed the XJ last week, mileage has improved rediculous...

Went from using an 1/8 of a tank a day for work to about a 1/2 tank in a week.

Went wheeling. Saw a Hemi JK catch fire, a FJ cruiser broke both his front shafts and I have a u-joint making noises....Oh and my buddy tried to swim in his K5. Pulled it out, about 20 minutes later it died and we can't get it to start.

From what I understand...

Guy was in 4-hi trying to crawl over a bebe rock. Good way to fry your auto trans. Saw a post on FB that the motor's fine, but the trans is smoked (literally). Also the only pic I saw was of a fire-extinguisher white foam stuff-soaked engine bay.

Boys also forgot their sammich fixins, I'll blame it on me being at work. :looney:

I didn't get a pic of it. I was busy crawling up the rock garden behind it. He tried climbing it in 4Hi, not sure what he was thinking but when Craig asked if it was in 4lo he gave him a shitty look. Apparently he can wheel better than Craig can! Anyways the trans got hot and caught on fire. It still runs and everything but has some melted wiring on the firewall. I blame it on him being stubborn. It sounded sick at the bottom of the hill as we waited. Then once our three busted ass XJ's and an even more busted K5 walked right up it, an FJ snapped both his front shafts.

Swapped in a CSF 3 core radiator tonight...took a bit longer than expected.

Finally got it in and the Jeep running at a very reasonable temperature. However, the left front tire is now leaking rapidly. Lost probably 10lbs in the last 20 minutes or so.

Damn it.

Wheeled some old trails last night, going back tonight. Trails had gotten closed down for the past few years, found out the other night they were ok again so made a trip. Definately hadnt been any 4x4's out there in ages, looks like the atv crowd still been in there though.

Hard to find places that let u wheel at night.

$230 shipped from Radiatorbarn.com. Took about 2 days to get and I believe it came from Charleston, so you might get it a little quicker.

Fit very well, once I figured out what I needed to take off the old radiator for mounting points.
