Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Ok well how bout what measurement did you go by? I'm wanting to grab a set too and you are not making this easy lol

I suppose I'm not!!! I picked them up months ago.

I measured from bushing hole to spring hole. I can get measurements when I get home.

Got my digi gas gauge hooked up correctly and working. However, since the universal sender isn't inside a baffle, the gauge is all over the place when you are moving. Any way to get that to stop other than getting a factory sender? Is there a way to put an inline resistor or something in the sending circuit that would slow this down?

Stock is 3" center hole to center hole. The Ram shackle is 5".

Blew the cobwebs off the Jeep, did a quick A/C recharge, and headed 2 hours east out to Carolina Rebellion for the weekend with a buddy of mine. Had an excellent time camping and listening to a lot of bands i've been wanting to see for a long time...even if it was 90* yesterday.

All the basic's covered:

My XJ is two inches taller than it was this morning. I can confirm it because I can now stand underneath the hatch when it is open without having to duck....that, and I measured!

Just need to adjust and resecure the tie rod and install the lower control arm drop brackets and I'm good to go!

Broke the 70km mark. 70km on the dot at 5 hours on the dot. It was odd. Did a bunch of reading on last years race. 130 started, 40 finished.

On an XJ related note. Does anyone have a D30 yoke they can ship me on the cheap? I snapped the head off one of the bolts and can't for the life of me figure out how to get it out of the yoke now.

Speaking of Crawl prizes... I need to get to building my donation! Its going to be nice!

Make sure to build a rear bumper with a swingaway tire carrier so I can win it for my XJ.

I caught a bunch of Bluegill and redear. Between Dad and I it was around 100 keepers and we threw around 30 or so back. My shin is skinned up, my back is burnt and my ring finger is sore from setting the hook so much! Rough Weekend! :D

Just got back in town! Tyler thanks for letting me stop by and dropped off that tailgate for Mark! How did the Mustang do? Doug and Sam, so glad you guys came to the Pickle Barrel on Saturday! They ended up having the past Player's meeting there! A friend I went to school with cam and got me and I drank some more of that good stuff! Sunday I found another blue-cheese burger that was good too! Went and roamed around my old School and then watched an amazing performance of "A Midsummer Nights Dream" After words I spent the evening with a teacher that was very influential to me during high school and shared in his retirement celebration! Dove home today and my a little tired! Really enjoyed seeing my NAXJA friends this weekend out other then the once a year thing at the Crawl!

Mustang did great. It was launching pretty good most of the time. The Auburn posi was kinda acting up and not wanting to lock all that well like it used to. But I did manage a 1.56 60 ft, with a 7.17 1/8th mile and a 11.31 1/4 mile so Im pretty happy with that. Im so close that now I want to be in the 6's and 10's lol.

Wish somebody would've informed me about the pickle barrel gathering, I would have swung by.

Hey Doug, next time you drop a tire off for me to have vulcanized, you could at least break it down! Heck, the hard side was already done for you. lol!
