Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Sounds like Brown Santa has been a busy guy today.

Would explain why he didn't get to me until almost 7:00 tonight lol.

If I have stuff sent to work instead of home, that driver is there no later than 10am. The guy who does the route by my house seems to be no earlier than 6pm lol.

remember to not send your packages to the old office...

Quit doing that some time ago lol. Now that i'm in a house and not an apartment, I usually have it sent home. It was convenient to have it sent to work versus my apartment because I never could get to the office before they closed in the evenings.

Wow the brown santa visited a lot of us, I got my projectors and housings for the yota today from the brown santa. He normally comes to my house around 3.00 PM

As soon as I can scrounge up the tools to tear into this gearbox, i'll be hitting you up for a day to help swap it out. Just gotta get my hands on some snap ring pliers...

I have all you need. Bring the jeep and some friends here next weekend and we will put it in before lunch.

Got my brown dog motor mounts and replacement trans mount installed.....Awesome! feels like a different jeep. Def one of the best things I have done to the jeep.

There is only one thing better than Brown dog's......FREE Brown dogs! I love my free Brown dogs! :D

Things got a bit interesting today at work when bossman finally came back to town and wanted to "chat" about my resignation. I may just head down that way though, i'll let you know.

Maybe if I do and Sam's not busy he can tag along too?

Any and all are welcome. Three bedrooms and one sofa. I will cook dinner aka pizza and salad, you provide the beer! From my store! LOL!

Anytime after next week I should be good to go. Wed of next week is last day of finals so I should be free any time after that.

On a side note: I washed the jeep today (more specifically the underneath of it), its amazing how much mud can get stuck under the heep even after several washes. Now I just need to tear my header panel off and fix everything thats wrong with it. I also never noticed how loud my exhaust is until today. I havent driven it in 2 weeks because of school and today I started it up to move it, DAMN its loud haha.

Alright we'll figure something out. And by gearbox I meant tcase. Thinking about work too much lol.

Outside of my friends and family there isn't much I profess to love. The list is short:
  • Fried chicken for breakfast
  • Broke in cowboy boots
  • A good county cover band
  • Boobs
but I added a new item to the list tonight.

  • Properly aligned rear driveshaft angles
For the first time in almost 2 years I drove the Jeep at 60 miles an hour without vibrations or noises. It was so quiet that I was worried something was wrong.

And, I can confirm that Dodge Ram shackles will get you an extra 1 3/4" in the rear.

I'm right there with you on some of that list! So, any details of this new DS alignment? Was your pinion riding high? or Low? :dunno:

The pinion was straight out and I needed to tilt it up. I put in an SYE and have the 8.8 with the driveshaft flange. I put a 7 degree shim in and it cured what ailed me.

I also put in the Ram shackles, so right now my rear end is about 2 inches higher than the front. I still need to lift the front and put in my control arm drop brackets, but that shouldn't really affect anything.

Can't wait to finish it and get it on the highway and see what happens.

What year ram?

What year ram?

Mid 90s. I didn't really pay attention to a specific year. I just climbed under and measured until I found the right size. They did come from a 1500 model.
