Well got my jeep inspected lol
I pulled up he said hows it going I said I need a inspection
He kinda laughed 5 more guys walked outside
one said u don't have a tag light I said its last thing on list
Pulled into bay no registration I must have threw it away
He used my vin number
hooked up to machine
passed.... good to go for another year lol
small town hospitality .......don't think it would have been so easy in charlotte

Removed the ac condensor... thru the grill.
Installed my PS Cooler
Tapped my box.
Made the mounts for the ram. The larger end will go on the Tie rod. I think I'll cut it down a bit more first.
Stared at parts wishing they would jump back on the Jeep with no effort.

Nope. I got into a battle with the manager of the place I took my Jeep to a couple of weeks ago because of my LEGAL window tint.
Need to find somebody to inspect the car come may, since the window tint on it is not legal...

It won't happen. I've heard it's a 5 to 6 figure fine if a shop passes illegal tint. You best bet is to take the doors off, slap an outside mirror on, and get it inspected that way.

I drove my MJ for the first time in months after tossing a new battery in it party1:
I forgot how much I loved driving that piece of junk around. Way more fun than the ratty, beat up, leaking, chugging, misfiring, no-guts 98 I've been driving around because it's less of a cop magnet.

I installed the ZJ disc brakes on the trail rig. It went real smooth, easy bolt on upgrade.

Rear disc PERIOD is a definite must. Swapping over the 8.8 I gained rear disc as well and couldn't believe the difference it made. No grabbing drums when it's wet outside either!!!

hauled an xj off to the scrap yard and went and picked one up for the fiance to dd
its already got an aftermarket front bumper. and ive got some moabs lined up for it. other than the usual HIDS and stereo its going to stay stock.
been working on the new trail rig alot.
and took the dd wheeling (bad idea) and realized i should get the trail rig done.

I went with my pops to a fire call last night.
Call went out as a vehicle fire in the BK drive thru.
We got there, popped the hood, put the fire out with a water extinguisher. Turns out that the GHETTO wiring job caught the aftermarket electric fan on fire. The factory 8ga fan wiring was spliced into with 14ga solid stranded household wire. It was grounded to a fender washer and the positive was striped back and wire nutted to the end of the factory wiring...
My wife pointed out a huge ball of tin foil in one of the 60amp factory fuses and I noticed a few more "engineered" wires going to the battery. It was a damn drop cord with the end cut off!!! I followed it thru the firewall to an amplifier in the back with a house hold stereo speaker laying in the back seat! It was hilarious! I have a couple pictures... I'll get around to posting them.
