Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Started early Saturday morning to retrieve the dead Olds for the second time from work. I can't seem to solve the issues it has. Maybe I need to find something new.

Mowed my yard and the inlaws. I watched Bullitt.

Goofing off all day Sunday.

I did my TnT Long Arms yesterday. I will have pictures when go wheelin'.

Wish I would have known. I'd like to see that install. I'm planning on that sometime in the future. Any issues/problems w/install? or pretty straightforward?

What's wrong with it again? I can't remember if we went over this latest break down or not...

As for my weekend, spent it in the mountains with some good friends. Lots of much needed relaxing as well as some hiking and swimming at one of the local waterfalls. Got the Acura on two wheels going to the parking area for the trail/waterfall. Friends behind me in a Power Wagon couldn't get the camera's ready fast enough. It's got some pretty decent flex for a 2 door car!

high2by, i think those arms would be fine. pretty sure the bends is just to let the front droop more before the arm hits the bracketry for the coils....
i got my newly built tranny(for the waggy)
back today, went wheelin in my trooper yesterday, went tubing down a river on a giant tractor innertube, got drunk, watched the new harry potter movie, ticked off my wife, got my buddy's old cj running, did some laundry, and worried about how bad work is going to suck tomorrow. i wish weekends were just a day longer.

angie and i built an all aluminum hardtop for our pontoon a few weeks back. spent the entire day today mounting it on the boat.

We put a fuel pump in and that fixed it the first time. Drove it last Thursday to work and it cranks but won't start. So I have to decide if I want to keep dumping money into it or try and find something different/easier for me to deal with.

We can talk cars on Chat tonight.

Spent the weekend with family at a reunion!

This stretch of river was pretty dang cool! We found a huge rope swing into the river and played on it for an hour or so...

Absolutely nothing...which is rare for me for a weekend. Aside from meeting up with a few friends at one of the local bars last night.

man, a nothing weekend is golden... and way too rare.

ps. If any locals want to make plans for NEXT weekend, July 30-31, I'm hosting a tree house building party.... and I'm a much better mechanic than I am a builder!

Worked my last day at corporate bull-shhhh tire place Saturday. Realigned the Jeep today, found the track bar was loose, it has calmed the death wobble but hasn't got rid of it completely.

Got a sweet new coffee maker. all that jazz and it grinds whole beans.

Went on another Kayaking trip. I'm getting addicted I believe.

We're looking into a trip the whitewater center now...
I LOVE whitewater, friend of mine got me addicted last summer we used to use her boyfriends 2 bench raft while he was on guide trips..... Yet another expensive hobby I need to make time and money for.... I really want a raft so me and sam can go together

Nice score on the coffee maker.. out of curiosity properly aligned what's the distance between the steering arms? I need to do sams jeep and a point of reference would be good

Split the difference between the front of both tires and the back of both tires. You know as well as I do that the number you ask for could be inches different depending on lift... :-P

Started on our new set of display cases - I'm learning about LEDs so I can wire up some UV ones for fluorescent minerals. Got my "school me" thread in OT.

Picked up the MJ from Glenn today after getting some things done. Boy, it'll be nice not having to worry about it overheating.

Measuring gives some pretty good results. I have done a driveway alignment before and then checked it on the rack, I was in spec, just not perfect. It's almost impossible to completely zero out a drag-link set up anyways. Use GoJeeps write-up...

If that's not what you are looking for, let me know.

Oh one other thing... Jounce the vehicle after adjusting or give it a quick spin up and down the street, and remeasure.
