Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Trying to replace passenger side ball joints....any suggestions?? AND I think someone WELDED the top ball joint to the axle....looks like 3 spots, maybe an inch long each....:twak:

get a bigger breaker bar for the ball joint tool haha

The trail rig is packed and sitting in the garage ready to ride and i watched it rain and rain and rain......

It seems every time i want to go trail riding it rains:dunno:

If you are having a drought, plan a trail ride and invite me:smsoap:

We are moving to Italy in a month. My wife will have the Clubman with her in B'ham next week if you want to take a look at it.

We need all need to get together one more night before you leave! And this time it'll be a restaurant with better service!

Chris, drop a v8 zj tie rod from the yard in there and forget about it.

I made probably 20 full throttle assaults on a rocky stump covered 45 degree slope with a 2 foot ledge at the top yesterday with mine on 33s, didn't even think about bending. And I have already done probably 8 or 10 other wheeling runs with it in the last year with the same wheeling style and lack of damage.

I have no idea how I haven't broken a d30 shaft yet. Lord knows I've tried.

I have one in the garage I need to change the boot and TRE on then it'll go in. I thought it was funny. Bent once on the rocks...bent twice turning left in the mud. Love the tires though!!!

If the ZJ rod holds up that may free up some money for other things!

I relocated my battery to the rear cargo area, fabbed up a cowl snorkel, and, installed HIDs.

If it wasn't for the rain I would have got a lot done this weekend. Damn rain!

Yeah, I really need to get around to replacing my dead wheel cylinder. Leaking brake fluid and wet drum brakes make for some very interesting stopping..lol.

I made the 'little rubber adhesive foot' mod to my CB mount. No more hatch or body rattles!

This did lead to the discovery that I also need to perform the 'replace the antenna feed line with one that isn't completely shot' mod. I'll probably go lazy (read: cheap) on that one and just cut out the offending foot of cable and replace the PL-259 connector.

cb is wired up...with only one minor problem. Others can receive from me but I have nothing but static on my end. Have tried a 4ft fiberglass and a 10ft whip both with same result except for about 5 minutes of perfect comm when we first put the whip on.

Nope I don't think any of us have a tuner. I think it may be a grounding problem on the antenna mount so I'll clean that up and see if it helps. If not i'll be picking up one those tuners and go from there.

made some relocation brackets for leafs
now to weld them up and put on.... RAIN SUCKS unless its the day before a wheeling trip :) hurry up April 15th

Went wheeling with Ed, Mark and about 70 other people! :D Ed, hope you guys got some good shots.

POST THEM UP!!! I am ready to go

lived through my first week of driver training, although my trainer is from another country and doesn't speak enough english for a real conversation, and doesn't really know the rules about log booking and allowed hours and all that, so i end up getting roped into doing some things that might get me in trouble. this week i'm not gonna go with that. if i'm out of hours and he doesn't feel like driving, the wheels won't turn. i've also been applying for more local jobs such as pepsi trucks and dumptrucks and stuff like that. does anybody know the trends of dumptruck jobs in relation to construction and everything closing down in the winter? what do those guys do when work slacks up?

Not sure on that one. I'd ask for an english speaking trainer and point out that he is breaking DOT rules not yours. Of course they might deceid to not finish your traing. GL!

... and get it notarized, or witnessed, or whatever is required.

If they try and get rid of you quietly after that, you have some kind of ground to stand on.
