Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Made a set of set up bearings for the dana 44 build. It took longer than I expected. Hopefully I can start putting it and the 9" back together this week. Got it spread all over my workbench. Still have to make a wristed radius arm for one side of the Dana though. Ready to get it back on its feet.

Took Betty out again yesterday. Had a blast yet again, and still no Carnage report! One of the rear links got some more loving and now has a slight bow, but the way I look at it, now its just got more clearance! We did manage to find a new "trail" through a dry creek bed that was awesome. Lots of big rocks with some serious rock crawling action. I also managed to sorta flop it lol. Eased off into a mud hole that was deeper than I thought. I was trying to keep 2 tires out of the mud (up on the bank) and put the other 2 in the middle of the hole which in theory should have been the shallowest part. Nope! Turns out the bottom of the hole was about 4 feet lower than the bank, so when I dove off into it she laid over nice and easy. I tried to back out of it but didn't have any luck. Jarrad had to pull me back down. It was fun and Betty didn't get hurt so I can just laugh about it!

Made no progress on my poor idle issues but did find out that my IAC was frozen in position and and least when she does start now, it actually has a high idle that then slows down. Gonna hit Oreilly in a few and rent their fuel pressure gauge since mine grew legs.

The infamous cave that most never see:

And yes it was pitch black in there... the only reason you can see is because of the camera flash.

...that was a fun trip!!!

glad i was able to make it, and snap some pics of "Betty's First Time" :D

i was also happy with my Jeep too... if i had seen Parson's Pass before doing it, i don't think i would have, lol. But still made it, and only pulled once! ...gave the rocker replacements some new lovin' as well as skids, frame rails, diffs, shocks, axles, exhaust, wheels, and gas tank... but it was all fun!

...lookin' forward to the next step in my "xj progression" :wierd:

Went to the mud pits....

Met up with Krusty off here... Thats a bad bitch hes got lol...

Crazy Crazy day.

I'm assuming the mud pits in Sanford?

And yeah, that's an awesome XJ he's got. Last time I talked to him he said his next project is going to be a Liberty.

Spent the saturday driving to Atlanta, picked up my old Moab rims traded last year for some LTB's. Just so happens i have some 315/16" tires waiting in the shed.
Still broke at this rate.
9 hour drive @ top speed of 60mph with Avon..what a trip!

Spent sunday discovering new trails in SC with Lennie and his possee.
I got some added hair due to some off camber hills..

Rubi(dog) gave me the WTF look when he was hugging the center console

Did you play in the mud at Scotty's?

No.. Scotty played in the mud at Scottys. I took a bunch of pictures of the Blazer on 39s stuck in the mud.
Lennie and possee were busy plowing and chopping trees down lol

I sat back, ate Markette chicken and waited around ,

The next couple of weeks are booked though. :( Did anyone tell you about the Poker Run here localy in November? http://www.wheelindixie.com/forums/showthread.php?10845-2-Poker-Run-events-local-to-Sowelltown I'll be hanging out, possiably on the RTI ramp some, with the rest of the Heavy Chevy's!

Saturday: spent the entire day wheeling
Sunday: spent the entire day on planes and in airports

No at the Lexington Mud Pits off 85...

4x4Cross did an event, was an insane day...

Ahhh gotcha.

Ordered Brown Dog engine mounts today and a replacement APN header. Provided everything comes in this week, I plan to fix this exhaust leak once and for all....again.

Also spent all afternoon power washing the mud off the Jeep. 3 years ago I swore i'd never play in mud again...this time I mean it!

We took 3 XJ's to the pits yesterday... I will take a picture of them at the shop once I get there today, I will be cleaning mine, but not the others. Not an inch of them that isn't covered in mud.
