Weekend is over...what did you get done?

I bet you could toss a 14 bolt on that bench with no worries. Looks like it's built even better than my desk, I only used 2x4s and 3/4" ply on mine...

Yeah, it's pretty solid. Only thing I might do is add an extra support under the middle of the table top as there's nothing there.

Plan is to soak it in sealer and leave it outside.

SEM Pro-Tex Truckbed Liner kit- 39650

Used a SEM 71001 Truck bed liner gun to appy it with.

It is the 1st one I have done with a spray gun.

I've heard good things about the SEM product. Looks good.

Ok, so heres my take on rear bump stops. They may work or they may not. I don't know yet. I want to keep them as a bolt on mod so I can remove them easily later since they probably won't be on there long. I have other plans in the near future to completely change the back suspension.

I still have to attach them horizontally to the side of the frame rail. Right now they are only utilizing the factory bolts. Yes, I cut the u-bolts off all the same length. lol I plan to go find a couple hockey pucks to cut down and mount to the top of the spring plate and shorten what I have so far. This may work and it may not. It was just a quick idea I had to make my tires and quarters last a lil longer. How do you guys think they will work?

Also, pay my welds no attention. No, they aren't pretty. I'm not a welder. :)

Maybe it's booty fab, I just haven't seen any better options for rear bumps without buying $100 spring plates and new factory bumps.

i'd say they will probably work, although i'd make sure where the bumpstop comes down isnt on top of the u bolts (flex it out first, then fully bolt it down). good idea

If those u-bolts were any longer, you could just throw a rubber jounce on top of one! :D

I think it'll work, are you going to put a jounce on the end of the tubing though? I dont think you want to leave it metal to metal.

Yeah, I was either going to put it on the end of the stop or bolt it to the spring plate.

Like I said, just after I laid down the camera I went and picked up the portaband and cut the u-bolts off flush.

More work done yesterday. I should be putting everything back together tonight and ready to hit Aenta Saturday morning.

There used to be a gaint hole here for a snokel.
