Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Hauled off trash and picked up some weedeater line. Mowed the grass and went to a birthday party Saturday.

Church and then changed the brakes on the '92 Olds Sunday. Didn't take long but it sure was hot! I looked like somebody shot me with a water hose when I got done.

I went to Tunica for my buddy's bachelor party. I lost a little bit of money and got drunk. Good weekend.

went to URE again for the second time. had fun. was going up Daniel and the sky dropped. rained like crazy. wat fun that was

Awesome weekend camping out of town with a couple other members...thread to come..eventually lol.

Now begins the last minute pack to get out of my apartment and into something else....and of course, my A/C decided to start blowing warm on the way home from work yesterday on a week when it's going to be pushing 100* almost every day.

Today is front unit bearings and ujoints. I know the unit bearings will be a breeze, but I'm sure the ujoints will give me hell.

I love URE in the rain. Less dust more challenge.

While I'm waiting on funds to fix the DW in the jeep I'm getting started on projects that I already have the parts for. In between jobs for drivennashville.com and my full time I've started sanding down the new power doors, pulled the manual doors, and going to pull the bumpers tonight.

Hooters! Yum! ATL has some nice sites!

I'm going to pick up a little project for the Jeep today :) Pictures when I get back this evening.

Last weekend was fun/busy sold the wife's old car then picked up the wife's new car and visited old friends and took the new car to its 1st car show. Car started off with 11miles on the clock and ended sun with 260miles whew..

She loves the car and is already picking out upgrades, I got home today to find new exhaust and programmer for it waiting for me to drag it into the garage

While its not a jeep I'll post up pics anyway :D

basically paid $200 to find out that i'm gonna end up spending another $500 to keep the A/C working in the waggy. starting to debate whether or not i REALLY need A/C...
i wanna take the waggy to the beach, but the wife won't ride with me for 8 hours without a/c, which would leave us traveling in the pink toyota. i'm gonna give it one more shot, but if i can't fix this leak, i'll be going without a/c until at least next year.

Got the new Timken unit bearings (thanks KP) and ujoints installed on the front axle. The front end is so much tighter and now it doesn't clank and pop when I turn.

Now I need an alignment and need to get rid of the DW that developed and the front end should be set.

MAX those cars are so beautiful. bet the mileage isnt great though hehe.

Around town its been as low as 14mpg and as high as 16mpg on the highway it got 22mpg, I think the 6spd helps a ton on mpg area. Around town it prob no worse then a lifted XJ I think. Now if your really showing off or showing something up then yea I can watch the gauge move

:joedirt:Plum Crazy Purple!:joedirt:

nice!

Only color the wife wanted, and it had to be a 6spd. People have stopped and brought traffic to a crawl and almost caused accidents gawking @ it when she drives it. Guys have been just staring at her when shes at a light then she hotdogs it and grabs 2nd and 3rd and at the next light there all waving and giving her a big thumbs up
