Why am I not surprised! I found the PS leak, I think, and pulled all the parts boxes out the xj looking for some stiff I need to get shipped! It's amazing how our jeeps eat stuff. :D

me and mark (jeepgeek2002) just got back from murfreesboro with this gem
89 4.0 aw4 2wd pioneer, LWB it leaks oil like crazy, dude said he couldnt "time it" and it has a rust free body ;) found out later the MAP sensor isnt hooked up and it lacks an oil pan gasket....... i paid 400$ for it and drove it on the trailer

well technically it was outside woodbury ;)

i bought it...plans are to build a DED (dirt every day) truck.... streetable road trippable and wheelable all in the same package since theres some trips that dont need a trailer (ive also wanted one since i was 16), and i happen to a 4.56 gear d30 laying about and needed something to do with it......

hmm.... got this axle laying around. what should i do with it... sell it, neh.... part it out, neh.... i know! ill buy a truck to go around the axle.

looks good doug, going to have hardcore wheeler, trailer, DED, and DD NICE!

i got a DD and wheeler... and the wife is good with that... no more jeeps for me i guess, i just need a trailer and a hauler (guess i still have to borrow those)

and the JK isnt going to join team v8 ANYTIME soon... thats a 10k upgrade... WITHOUT labor... i could buy a trailer and tow rig for less than that...
 
nice rig,wish i could find another jeep for that kinda price! ($400 is that all? sweeet!!!)
all i'm ever finding is over $1000, can't afford that kinda pricing right now.

well, i didn't do much over the week-end. but my gf got a job! she started today, well the training part of it anyway lol. so it's just me & my daughter here for now. oh and our 2 dogs.

cl... called the dude and before i even asked he came off the price 100 bux, its starting to look like its gonna be easier to just put a motor in it (hackwork headjob), but if i find a good deal on a used motor i can still have it driving for under a grand :)

....the beds getting bobbed, its a boat and will get wrinkled in the dirt

can't have enough rigs right? ;) i really want to build something thats comfy and keep me warm in the winter that DOESNT need a trailer... plus the a/c still works in it sor summer camping and dd duties if i choose to drive it
 
Drove out to Raleigh to visit my cousin and a good friend last night...stopped in Trinity to check out a Samurai for my dad (looks like it's our new project!)

Went and met up with Nick (Cnickgo) to scope out some Jeeps at a junkyard near him. Wound up shootin the sh*t for a couple of hours this afternoon before I drove back to Winston.

Hoping to install my bumper tomorrow evening.
 
Installed JCR Stage 2 that I got from Ckale1 (or will once I finish paying for it :) )

Kinda dark...i'll have some better ones tomorrow. Got to get some longer bolts, and relocate my horns.
