Weekend is over...what did you get done?

hahaha, I have had them for like 3 weeks and was bored so I finally put them in haha. Its easy as hell too..Just make sure you lubricate the seals a little so they slide in the rail and into the intake easily.

Yeah i figured that out test fitting into my 99 intake that needs to go in as well. By the way... congrats on the RED!!!

Yes it is.
1998

4.5" Rough Country Lift (Full leafs)
32" BFG M/Ts - Full Size Pro Comp M/T Spare

Dana 30 - Lockrite and ARB Cover
Dana 35 - Open and Riddler Diff Cover
Still has 3.55 gears - this will likely change with the 8.25 I have.

All the other doo-dads you see (Mushpacker flares, Mile Marker winch, Safari Rack, Logan's bumper, etc)

Congrats! I never did look over in LA, only in GA, TN, and AL. I miss my 242. The first XJ was a daily driver, and the AWD was nice in the down pours we get over here. You got LOW miles....I'm at 140k on my '01. Is Bama too far for some wheeling? We're having a get together for Dinner Sat night, and trail ride Sunday in March...:dunno:

Oh and uhh, props to your parts guy for getting you the new rings AND letting you work on them in the back of the store. Hell of a guy I must say!...:D

I acutally found it listed on South Mississipi Jeep Club's forum, even though the guy lives in LA.

Alabama isn't too far for wheeling. My dad is originally from (and still has family in) Athens if you know where that is. However, Alabama is too far for wheeling THIS weekend.

Alabama has some cool wheeling out there
morris mountain
Choccolocco
Mountain side
Grey Rock
etc

P1atinum - clean work you did there. At first I thought you were just going to leave the two bezels glued together. Nice job on the blend+paint.

Thanks, I really wanted to keep the look of the dash stock, I am still not certian the color matches the rest of the dash but I can live with it.

I spent 12 years doing custom install work at a very good Audio shop in Salt Lake City. "Innovative Car Audio" but I haven't done anything in a loooong time so I was happy with how it's turned out.

ninja 250s make a great hood ornament when they smack my jeep.. good luck!

Midnight hockey game last night...our team got their tails handed to them (lost 7-0)...worst game i've ever seen them play. However there was one good fight in the game, and two in the crowd...one of which got 2 people arrested!

What do you get when you have tired people out to watch a first ever midnight hockey game with the team losing horribly, work the next morning, AND you cut off their alcohol supplies 1 hour after the game starts? Very, very angry people!

Friday project in the works..
Gained about 2" up front, 1.5 rear-Clutch fixed-felt "death wobble" gotta fix that, put on 33" tires for fit test. "New" ones on the way. Aquired the white steels.(Need touch up work)

Overall, not a bad days work. got about 4.5 inches of lift and when the new meets get installed, just some beefy front end work and gearing to complete.
