Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Did my taxes today and as usual I owe the gov't more money. :(

Well after owing for the last 2 years, I'm getting a whole $28 back this year.

Gotta love how full time college students get screwed over the most on taxes...

Friday I got the Lejeune job within a day of completion, then swung up by Havelock to meet Timmy. Great guy! He gave me a tour of his garage/Jeeps, talked about the Marines a bit, and hooked me up with some taillights (now I can go pass inspection). Thanks man!

I decided to tear into the T-case issue tonight and found the problem to be with the shift quadrant. Some light filing to the 4-hi section to remove a burr got it working smooth again like it should. I can't wait to have 2-low on the trail. So many of our trails have tight switchbacks and axle binding is always an issue. I can say goodbye to that now.

Did you get the 4:1 also? or just the 2 low? I miss my 4:1 from my previous trail rig....

well went to the remote parking lot and dug my jeep out. had about a foot of snow/ice mix on top of it surrounded by over a foot on all sides with packed plow snow behind me.
On the bright side all i had to do was clear it off the top and dig enough to clear the diff, after that 4x4 did the rest :)

i ripped out my carpet to reveal the extent of my rusted floorpan on my newly acquired '93... good thing i have a current tetanus shot.

Wow, that's clean compared to mine. What's your plan to fix it?

Edit: I saw your other thread and you might be going with the Raybuck panels. Please post pics and thoughts when you make your repairs.

Dude....is that a Chili Pepper Red LIMITED??? yer killing me...I looked, but couldn't find....how about some specs?:viking:

put in the ford 19lb injectors...Idle is smoothing out and it revs a whole lot smoother and crisper! No real power gains (not surprised) But I do like the way it runs a lot more...Worth the 15 bucks I spent to do it!

Alright, seriously, stop beating me to the mods! That is yet another thing I have sitting waiting to go in the Jeep.

hahaha, I have had them for like 3 weeks and was bored so I finally put them in haha. Its easy as hell too..Just make sure you lubricate the seals a little so they slide in the rail and into the intake easily.
