Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Got the gas tank and dash mounted back in the trail rig fired up and runs good. Got 97+ front and rear seats and console swapped into DD rig. Looks out of place as it's tan interior and grey seats and console but they're better than the old seats that were in it.

Went to the Wilson County Fair with the family and Trail rate this' fam. Carny guessed my age at 33 (I'm 26), at least I got a big blow up hammer to hit TRT with. That never got old.

We'll be at the fair tonight.

Removed bumper endcaps on front, doing the rear today. Next weekend I'm taking off the fenders for trimming.

Removed door panels on passenger front and driver rear to lube the lock mechanisms. Think I got a little overzealous with the WD-40- my power locks don't work at all now......... I'd hoped to go to manual doors soon anyway.

Spent yesterday afternoon riding around trying to find a 8.25 with 3.07's to do a swap in my buddy's XJ after determining the loud clunk and excessive driveline slack is from a bad carrier in his factory 8.25 with 202K on it. Didn't have much luck so we might be throwing a D35 in there for the time being to keep the Jeep on the road.

throw in one with 3.55's or 4.10's and just regear the front later. it's not too hard....

then small lift...oh getting ahead of my self lol

LOOK MA... no computer!

finally got under the hood and traced down wires that werent needed anymore since i did the MC2100 swap FOREVER ago. and took out the computer...but dont worry i unplugged it first and made sure the jeep would still run. i didnt think it needed it anymore since i did away with the computer controlled BBD *thumsdown* yeeeck.... then when i confirmed it didnt need it i took it out and traced down all the wires that was attached to it and got rid of them as well.

Way to go blake, put it on a diet looks like!

I just got back from Truck Fest a little bit ago, Im at Tims (TheHardStruggler) now helping take care of him. I will most likely be going back tomorrow when Dan (MELKORsXJ) gets in town on his way back for the Carolinas. I was able to pick up a new set of shoes for the Willys today as well, come to Golden Mountain next weekend to see what I got!
