Weekend is over...what did you get done?

timmy did the injectors make a nice improvement? i forgot to send you the tracking number for them. sorry about that but i see you got them. i was just about to send you a message asking. did you get them on fri? thats when it said they were supposed to be there.

Yeah Big A I figure I can get on post here soon and head over to the auto skills center. I got a couple of cheap/free mods in mind after perusing through here.

I may have about a grand to play with when I get my travel money in.

ha! weekend just started, but i got the gears set up in my cherokee! i'm still missing the axle tube seal on the passenger side, so i still have a leak there, but i'm not too worried about it. i can keep an eye on the fluid for the weekend. o'reilly's didn't have the seal i need for it. oh yeah, i found out what's wrong with my winch. the motor is full of water, and therefore roached. superwinch is gonna send me a new one on monday.

been working on my trucks audio system: installed 2 new jl audio component speakers up front, and 2 boston accoustics in the rear. currently running the wiring for my 2 amps. ill throw some pics up later this weekend.

bought a special project, and enlisted tylers help to tow it home, and hit the make or brake time in me and my girfriends relationship..... and for thosepaying atention it looks like we hammered out our differences and made it ;) so shes a keeper for good now, im happy my little insta-family is still happy and staying together for a long time to come

.

Timmy - how does the 88 run with those new injectors?

well the ass dyno says a little more oooph. the idle is uber smooth and i havent got to re fill her to run a milage test as of yet.

side note the hydrogen kit tacked on 4 more MPG. that with the better spray injectors should be a nice combo.

me too ;) apparently in this life business shit hitting the fan is unavoidable, but its how you deal with it that makes or breaks it

I used to tell my ex that great things rarely comes free in life, most you have to work for. She chose an "easier path" which ended up being what she was attracted to, a joke.

Glad you found a keeper that is willing to work with ya.

You know, it's always hard when the woman leaves you for a joke; but it's the best feeling knowing she just got pwned by the universe.

Just cut the top off of a perfectly good enclosed trailer to use the frame for building my new offroad/expedition trailer. Gotta finish cutting the walls off, and get it down to the bare frame, then the new build starts. I cant wait to get all the camping crap out of my XJ on trips.

Sunday, a group of us from another forum are heading up to N. Georgia for some forest road/trail riding/hiking/exploring.

Great weekend so far!

got the doors putback on the jeep and put a trash bag over the busted window..... i used black tape on it it looks like a baja racer window net ;)

Just got back to my apartment for the first time in a week. Spent last week on vacation at Ocean Isle...got rather sunburned yesterday (sorta kinda on purpose being the last day). Got back to town around noon today to my friends house where I left my Jeep for the week to avoid it getting broken into at my complex. Hung out with them for the afternoon, grilled out pork chops and got a call shortly after from my roommate that his Jeep broke down (again) on the side of 85. Started dumping brake fluid out of the line on the back right at the wheel cylinder...fluid hit the hot exhaust and made for a small fire. No damage done from the fire..but I got the pleasure of going to rescue him off the side of I85 in the pouring down rain at night.

  1. Cleaned up the yard
  2. Went to the country; fed and watered Ghosts dogs.
  3. Watched T.V.
In that order.

Friday, looked at a '98 and '99 XJ's for sale on Craigslist.

Saturday:

Went to look at '98 XJ with MIL and bought it. Dropped by Mark's to show it to him. Stopped at Cracker Barrell on the way back for a Uncle Hershels breakfast (for lunch). Mowed the yard and around the parts rigs out back then weedeated around the house and shop. Went on a date with my wife to Red Robin and ate a delicious hamburger and stopped at the bookstore on the way home to pick up the latest issue of Mopar Action magazine. What a great day!

Sunday: rest
