When you get a fully functional D60 off a running vehicle for under $200 you have to buy it.

D30 build:the d30 build still makes more sense for me. I would have equal or more clearence with D30 and 35's than with the D60 and any thing less than 39's. I am way into the D30 build and am not sure I want to change horses right now

Some guys have all the luck! Put a 1 in front of it and you get what I paid for my set of 79 Snowfighter set!
 
Saturday: flew from Oregon to Charleston WV
Sunday: Connected the 67 CJ to the jeep and towed it from WV to Knoxville. Tank and a 1/4 of gas and I went 65 the whole way (other than the big hills)
Today: Shuffled jeeps around and took the top and doors off the CJ.

ahhhh, i miss my old cj... i could have it back for cheap, but i don't have the cash, and i traded it for the grand wagoneer that i still need to finish up... what are you asking for yours? does it have a top? does it run? just throw any info onthe cj out there....

It does run, I just have to get it to start. It just sat for a year so it's a simple issue. It's stock with a freshly rebuilt motor. I have the hard top, set of spare front fenders and windshield frame with good glass. I'd have to say the price is 2 grand. If I sell it'll finance the XJ project, or I won't sell. It's no biggie either way. I love my jeeps...and I have no women to get in the way!

to some this would sound sad, but to those of us who have women and jeeps you are surely envied... you should keep the cj for sure. when i have a little more room, and i can keep the little lady in check, i'm iguana either get my old cj back, or get another one. :firedevil
 
Well I have an interesting job situation so no woman works well so far, though it has drawbacks! I love the little jeep. My sister and I kept sitting in the driver's seat today and talking about driving it. We'll both learn to weld on this thing, and she's going to go to a tech school here and open a garage
 
hey, my girl likes my jeeps, she just gets tired of paying the bills when i blow all my money on jeep parts... the more jeeps i have, the more money i spend on the jeeps. it's not uncommon for me to have 3 or 4 running jeeps at any given time....
 
Maybe that's the difference ... I have self control. :roflmao:

It was hard not sinking the ring money into the Jeeps, though.
 
my dog likes mine? i can't compete, but yeah, you're right on the self control thing. good thing jeeps have fewer consequences than some of the things out there to get addicted to.
 
Well, I have no dog in this race so... I REALLY SORTA KINDA LIKE MY JEEP... MAYBE JUST A LITTLE. Lol, boo yah!
 
Question: I noticed you guys were talking about the PAP's getting some of the CFC vehicles... are they going to label them as such so that people don't buy the engines out of them? I mean, that would be a bummer... "Oh look, a 99 cherokee 4.0 Liter, and its only got 43K on the odometer, lets snag that" only to get home and get it in and then find out it is ruined.
